Now this Fender SUPER REVERB '65 Reissue amp makes each note sound nicer, clearer and rounder! Instant SRV tone! What a beauty! 4X10 Jensen Alnico Speakers etc...
The solid bodies hadn't near come to the forefront when Leo Fender put out this amp. He was still making amps for his Gibson and Gretsch competitors' guitars. By the 1970's and afterwards, hollow and semihollows have, in general, been forgotten by amp builders. So, this was indeed a refreshing video.
That Gibson ES 355 of yours is just ridiculous. Gorgeous guitar and it sounds killer in that Super Reverb reissue too. I just traded my 2020 Les Paul Standard 50's that was in mint condition straight across for a real 1966 Super Reverb. It plays nice with everything too!
Hallo Rolly, thank You for everything, i always follow and like Your videos. Which model is the beautiful es 335? Is it a custom shop? Thank You again.
The 335 is beautiful and sounds great. I recently bought a Tone Master Twin reverb and it's excellent. However. I have always wanted a Super Reverb. Nothing sounds like them. People complain about how much they weigh. So what. I just can't see spending large amounts of money for a "hand wired" 12 inch amp when I can have a Super. I will purchase a Super RI in the near future, mostly just because I Want One. Kinda like a painting to hang on the wall. I just want it. That's all. To Have. Your amp sounds wonderful and your playing is superb. I love that classic Fender sound that you get. Thanks and Happy New Year 2023 from Tim in Mobile Alabama USA.
Reissue? I don't know if it is as good as a good authentic SR. But, the guitarist character is as good an act as any old school actor who ever stepped onto the Hollywood stage.

I picked up a used 2014 model that has G10 Greenbacks made in UK. Haven't had a chance to crank it yet 🤞🏻

This amp,is a living breathing monster. I run this in stereo with a 59 bassman LTD. So…. My rig is insane.
