For some reason, I have a feeling light lagers are going to be dominating taphouses everywhere this summer.
Come to northern Virginia, we have a huge mix of hole in the wall, warehouse, and the giant farm breweries. There are hundreds out here. Beer varies but there are some worthwhile spots. The culture is a bit bland but variety helps make up for it!
So happy to see Greenbench on ur tops of the city! When I go I'm gonna check it out along with the other spots you mentioned! Always great vids man!

Central ave st pete is the only place where i stood in front of a craft brewery, that was next door a brewery that was across the street from a brewery.
You need to visit Anchorage Alaska. Great beers, not gimmicky. We have over a dozen small breweries, several of them have been brewing for nearly 30 years.
Another awesome video! I haven't really been able to homebrew due to a broken ankle, and now work. But I retire in a month and vow to have beer on tap without exception! If you return to the West Coast and feel like going north an hour or two, try the South Bay / Torrance beer scene. There are several breweries in a very small area. You can ride a bike from one to the other.

He’s not wrong. South and central Florida people can get crazy at night. The farther south, the more the crazy. If im not drinking, I’m m packing down here. During the day though, people are awesome. Maybe with exception of a few not so good neighborhoods.
The walk from Ybor to Coppertail was pretty sketch. I think we saw a dead body in the bushes.
Been driving to Tampa for work and end up spending 3-4 days at a time. Green Bench is phenomenal. Another brewery I found in the middle of no where over the bay bridge called Escape Brewery, in my opinion quite possibly in the top 5 best tasting beers in FLORIDA. I haven't been to two of the ones on this video, thanks for sharing, putting them on the list.

A couple weeks ago I moved from Omaha Nebraska, which has a surprisingly good beer scene, to Saint Simons island GA where I’ve only got two breweries within earshot. Anything else is a day trip. So I dig the Florida recommendations, that may be my closest beer scene now. I went down to Jacksonville recently and if you’re ever down there I’d highly recommend Wicked Barley Brewing.
Cubans and hockey is what Tampa does!!
This was awesome! I was out in St Petersburg for about 18 hours for work in February and had Dunedin recommended to me. Went to Soggy bottom brewing and had a blast.

I'm from St Pete, the beer /bar scene is like no other. If you guys are traveling, come out to Hawaii. We are in the process of opening a brewery.

Not to be a douche, but I will be.. they were horizontal lagering tanks, not vertical. Not that it matters, but i've seen pics of those tanks over the bar and it's an awesome vibe. Great video, love these travel vids!
If you go to tampa again check out Magnanimous, best IPA's in Tampa. If you goto St. Pete again check out Cycle brewing, they have the best Barrel Age stouts on tap. They have at least 10 or more always on tap.
For the best sours in St. Pete I suggest Arkane Ale works.
But i would have to say the Lager seeking breweries you guys hit up were pretty solid. Barrie Haus Tampa export lager is possibly the best lager in Tampa in my opinon.
I suggest a Tampa Bay Beer Week trip to get full craft beer effect.

My in-laws are in Tampa and as much as I love visiting and going to the breweries it reminds me too much of Asheville. There's a ton of quantity but I don't think much of it stands out. I always find myself enjoying the big bois of Green Bench & CCB over anything else. Angry Chair is a close second.
We're going to see the fam in a few months. I'll have to check out Grand Central and the combo of Green Bench/Bodega is great. We take our sandwiches to the brewery.

Ybor is totally fine, don't listen to the boomers. Barriehaus is amazing. Coppertail is great. You missed Invasive Species though which is also killer. Was funny to see Patrick on here. Next time you close, you should come down to Miami. Homebrewing is going strong here as well. These homebrew boys would be down to show you around.
