    I love my jumbo versipack. It is truly versatile for various applications. I’ve been ask if it my man purse, diaper bag, camera bag, tool bag, range bag, hiking bag etc.
    I just say it my edc bag. There is just so much room in there that I need to be mindful not to overload it. Otherwise it can get too heavy for one shoulder.
    Nice work on the video and thanks for sharing

      Awesome! It really is a great bag. I have to be super mindful not to overload it, so easy to do. Glad you enjoy yours and that it gets so much use!

    Awesome bag, I have the Maxpedition Mongo Versipack and its currently my favorite sling bag. Good for a day pack that holds lots. One thing I carry for quick cleaning is Bounty paper towels. I think they are an excellent EDC item that do plenty more than standard paper towels that make it worth the premium price. They are so strong that I've used them at camp to wash many dishes and even as a cloth to clean my face and other body parts without them falling apart and could be dried and reused a couple times before coming apart. I take the used ones and use as additional fire tinder. They absorb more water over regular paper towels and if you want to tear them into smaller squares they tear straight and easy. I can pack a lot in a zip lock bag and pour some water on them for lighter cleaning tasks so I can save the more costly wet wipes for other cleaning.

      I’ve never had a Mongo but it fascinates me. Has an interesting look and I think I would either love or hate it. I might need to try it sometime. Great idea with the Bounty paper towels and totally agree about the quality of them. We are Bounty people. I’ll normally keep a couple blue shop paper towels around. I keep a roll in my car as well. Talk about durable. They’re probably the most durable paper towels I’ve found. Too expensive to be the roll in the kitchen but excellent for in the car and keeping paper towels in a bag or pouch for random situations.

      @@EDCQ I've seen those blue shop towels. Might give them a try! They sound strong. I think good paper towels are an underrated EDC. I could think of other more extreme uses like prefiltering really dirty water to extend the life of water purifiers, wound/bleeding pads in a pinch, toilet paper to name a few.

    • @EDCQ
      @EDCQ  2 роки тому +1

      @@practicalguy973 I agree. So many uses from simple daily things to potentially very helpful items in extreme situations. Definitely check the shop paper towel out, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed

    Great video and personalized setup. One thing I would seriously consider is a first aid kit with childrens' ibuprofen or acetaminophen. Doesn't need to be a full out trauma kit but one should always have at least a basic first aid kit within an edc bag/pack.

      Thank you so much! And thank you for the recommendation!!! I actually added some of my kid’s ibuprofen a couple weeks ago. And a small FAK is always a good idea!

    I moved away from the MaxPed Jumbo as it was destroying my shoulder, moved on to a 5.11 backpack (i think the 24hr one).
    Still use the MaxPed if i wanna go light (wallet, Lochby notebook cover/ wallet, bit bigger torch, knife, pack of bandaids, car keys & 500ml drink bottle, chronic pain meds & basic analgesia for the kids, snacks for the kids)

      I moved away from mine as well. But I rotate bags fairly regularly. Like you, I’ll come back to it. Those 1 shoulder sling bags can be hard on the shoulder if the bag is loaded or I wear it a long time.

    I want to buy it but I'm worried about it being heavy. I use 5.11 2 banger. Is jumbo heavy? Say what. I wish you happiness with the baby. Thank you for sharing.

    • @EDCQ
      @EDCQ  4 місяці тому

      I don’t have the 2 banger to compare it to, but it does have some weight even when empty. I don’t find it to be a problem but it is worth noting. It comes in at 1.7lbs. The Maxpedition Fatboy is another solid option, slightly smaller than this one and weighs 1.3 lbs. I highly recommend both!

      Definitely an option, and a good one. I did for months until I decided I wasn’t ever going to use it, then I cut it out.

    Hi, new subcriber from Europe. I have a doubt regarding the Versipack and maybe you can help me. Do you think a regular iPad could fit? I do not think so in the main compartment but, what about in the CCW one? Thank you.

    • @EDCQ
      @EDCQ  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Luis! Thanks for subscribing! Just tried to put my iPad Air 10.9 in the main pocket and the CCW, it wouldn’t fit in either, not even close. My iPad mini fits well in the CCW, like it was made for it.
