Well, those contract terms are so unreasonable - in my not-a-lawyer opinion - that I cannot imagine anyone would sign away all their rights to their own original, artistic creation for no money "in perpetuity" (i.e. for all time) 🤯

I saw your stories re Monolith when it was happening, and I 100% agree. If they haven't added the requirements and just said they are looking for new creators to add to their PR list (no expectations), that would be fine. I'm actually very interested to see who they choose.
Btw, just a side note, I don't think them saying 13:00 instead of 1pm was wrong, they were speaking to Europeans who use 24hrs format 😉 (being in Europe was one of the "requirements")

I enjoyed hearing your opinion on big brands asking for "donated" content. I personally try to only buy from ethical brands that pay people fairly for work they request.
They are trying to make taking advantage of creators seem noble with “we don’t pay people off” NICE TRY BUT NO WAY!!! 🚫🚫🚫🚫👎🏻👎🏻

This is a strong but well-deserved opinion of Monolith. They are certainly unappreciative of what content creators are doing for them and taking advantage of those that allow them too. How can they be proud of taking advantage of people like this?
I have no idea... it seems to be common business in this niche of the internet but we need to stop thinking that beauty creators work for free or their is less valuable. Or better: not we - these brands and shops

My makeup hobby is kinda screwed now. Even the cheapest shipping options to my country are usually almost 40 € in almost every indie brands website. Adding customs there is no way it'd be cheaper than Monolith, no matter what discounts I get.
You can of course still order there! I think this just a topic mostly content creators will be aware of. At the end, if this is your best choice of getting these brands - keep on there ❤️
I want to try clionadh but here in Spain is not easy with the customs from Canada.
So I ordered once and i wasn't able to get my order because of this. Do You know where else can i Buy Clionadh from the UE?
Because now i don't want to purchase from monolith, their response as they are a family business is disgusting as an influencer or content creator should be consider as a family business by the way

@EllagramMakeup Well, they already got people to work for free checking out their own shopping carts for the privilege of not having to wait in line for a ridiculous 🙄 amount of time. Toilets are certainly coming for us too.
