I have a trust issue with water 🤣
Same with me...
Same
Me also😂
Same water is gonna kill me I feel
Same..
In my opinion, everyone should start learning how to swim at a young age. You’ll never know when your life will depend on it
Come to Africa my friend 😊
Your opinion is useless for me since I live in the middle East with hardly any water surrounding me, I don't have water to drink, let alone drowning.
@@JuliaBeathrice age 13 is teenager now, you are not a baby/kid anymore.
@@JuliaBeathrice thanks and good luck!
I almost drowned

Its not just the water i hate its also what lives in it😨🐡🦈🐙🦀
😂
You'll be safe while floating for while until there's a wave
So use your brain and don’t swim in a place with strong waves if you’re not a strong swimmer 🤯
you can turn and swim then again check the still water but yes wave can even make swimmers fearful.
@@hoffer9385 in the sea there are bigger problems than turning upside down from a wave
na I didn’t think twice and I went to a place with waves 3FT higher than me and I almost drowned 👁️👄👁️
Well hopefully the waves will push you back to shore. If you're in the deep ocean for some reason gg
It's easy to imagine but in reality, It's hard. I still learning till now how to to float when I swim😌💗
Trusting the water helps a lot!! Stay calm
that might be true trusting the water that u float that u look like a jellyfish
I'll never trust the water😂
tbh it depends on body so even if you do what they teach to stay afloat you will sink cuz of your dense body type, trust me ive tried everything but i cant float i have to keep stroking
@@ap-rw3mj because your legs or butt are down in the water, if your flat with the water, you will float. You can put a 25 lb weight and you would still float

So when you fall in water first thing you do is take a deep breath???💀💀💀
Yes. Taking sufficient air till ur head reaches top
Ya that's probably for your confidence to float on your back😃

I learnt swimming at 40 that too in a lake. I was shit scared of water due to an incident in childhood (my stupidity). Had jumped in a friend's pool with mouth wide open and a friend saved me from drowning. Since that day I was just scared of trying to swim. Somehow gathered courage at 40 and now love it. Still a beginner but can do freestyle easily and a bit of underwater. Simply love it and hope to master my swimming along with learning other strokes. It is never too late.
Youre so brave.I'm dead scared. I worry that I might get a cramp in the leg or some kinda accident and then I sink.
Thanks so much for the encouragement. I want to learn to swim, however at 50 I'm petrified of the water. I don't do water in my face in the shower. My mom took me for lessons when I was younger but I was terrified even back then. One day I hope I can get over it.
Working on it at 37. I was never afraid of water. My parents came to America with just the clothes on their back, so swim lessons weren't a priority. I was too embarrassed as an adult although I did enroll in a few week beginner adult class. Recently moved to an apartment with a pool, so I wake up at 0600 just to practice 😊
The non swimmers....see u in heaven
😂
😂😂😂
Or with spongbob if a miracle will happen😅
As a non swimmer if this happen to me my last words before drowning jesus is Lord I never forget that word I'm a Christian pray to Jesus amen

I have lived in a beach city my whole life. 5 minute walk to the beach from my house and I still don’t know how to swim because of my fear of water lol
Simplest way never panic if u panic u drown always be calm in the sea
Tell me that when I fall in water
Bro, i know how to swim, but even i slightly panic every time my head goes under the water even tho i automatically come out to the surface every time.
@@okay7316 That means your water confidence is still a bit off
Once you’re tensed your done. Bye2. RIP.
Like, once I was swimming so i fell luckly i had my brother with me so i was practicing to walk in the swimmer pool I fell but i didn't panic and my brother saved me
I know how to swim and still unable to do this. 😂
Big fan
If you don't know how to swim/float and your feet can't reach the bottom, once your head goes down the surface, there's no way you're coming up again, until saved.
Simple
Most people can reach the bottom of pool
She is telling about sea or other water bodies not of pools ok??
@@sreya2004 well then they know how to swim
Just do nothing and you’ll get back up to the surface. But if you become panic and your hands and feet are struggling all over the place then you’re done.
For the ones who don't understand then what he is trying to say is that basically if you do this body will have an equal weight whereas if you are standing like trying to swim then you will sink and could possibly drown.
That's the best I could explain.Sorry if it was bad
Unless there is a shark thinking your a food. 😂
Bro when I was around seven I didn’t know how to swim so I had a floatie but I fell in the water and I panicked so hard that I just randomly started to move my arms up and down and it worked
Its sorta like learning ti ride a bike. The way I learned was I was pushed really hard and I was told to cycle downhill. Riding downhill means you have speed, so just cycle with the pedals
That’s exactly how I learned lol , when I was a little kid I fell out of a floatie & basically had to figure out how to swim to the steps I thought I was gonna die & no one noticed a child almost drowning 🤦🏻♂️
Apparently, that's a bit similar of how I learnt using chopsticks. Just randomly figuring out how to handle the sticks and slowly it worked.
I’m glad all you guys made it lol.
Right witcha I learned how to swim by almost drowning thought I was the only one 😂
I tried this and now I'm in heaven 😢
I've done that star thing since I was 3 (2016) I'm not lying!!!!
If your panicking u cannot do the starfish and some people do not do it the right way they just start wiggling their body
Not only do I have trust issues with water but I am also afraid of big fish. And not just like a shark for the obvious shark bite reasons but any big fish that can swallow me in a single gulp
@Tiny’Ouse I said “big fish” dummy
This is the dumbest excuse I've ever seen. Water is always gonna stay the same and all you need to do is go on top of it. Secondly, there are no big fish other than sharks that will eat you. By the way, ever heard of a SHARK NET
AHAHHAHAH.... "as long as you have air inside your body" LMAO
Trust issue with water is complex especially in ocean or sea
It's usually the fear
Legends say that the guy who followed the tutorial is still in the star fish position up till this day.
my family looks like their having the happiest day in their lives swimming... while I'm on the land watching them have fun because I'm scared of the water.
You can’t go for a swim if you can’t swim.
Go for an underwater swim.
Oh, so the fear of water is just a figment of my imagination then.
Basically
literally yes
I have the same issue. But, at 56, I'm tired of denying myself the pleasure everyone else seems to get out of this activity. Luckily, my gym has a pool & ego be damned, I'm gonna start working on teaching myself to swim.
I am watching all these videos after going neck deep in water while can't swim at all but yet trying to learn. Earlier i feared a lot but this time i got stupider and kept trying.
Sea water has salt which makes your body float
"Does that actually work"
"Let's find out"
It is important to mention that you have to apply full body tension. Stretch your arms and legs and move your head back (move your chin away from your chest). Try to breathe slightly shallow, so that most of the air stays in your lungs, do not breath out completely.
Relax all muscles like you do yoga sleeping pose and breathe normally. I do this all the time in the ocean and never sink
Swimming..driving..cooking..every human must have the skill..
Shark under there be like :- am I a joke to you ?
how do you go in the middle of ocean swimming I can easily drown in a 5ft pool 😂
That's true if you've never been into water before... you can literally drown at a depth less than your height as well. That's because you would not be able to maneuver your body for staying upright and start panicking which in turn will just make things harder.
Salt water is easier to float on because it's denser than freshwater (pool water)
@@GoldenTV3 you think someone who doesn't know how to swim can survive in the ocean/sea cause it's salty? you think the buoyancy added by salt is enough to keep you afloat? 🤦
@@archismansaha7660 It increases probability of survival
@@archismansaha7660 There's literally a sea with a so much salt in it that even someone that has never swam before couod float.
You are like a lifesaver. People who don't know how to swim will now learn it from you.
100% true. Even if you dont know how to swim, Is impossible to drown in calm waters if you stay like that with air in your lungs. Specially in the ocean as the salt helps you afloat, much easier than on a pool. Only thing to do is to control your mind and calm down. Loosing cool will get you dead. Even if you are pushed down, if you hold your breath and stand still, your body will slowly come up to the surface, you just need not to panic 👍
I think yes for seawater..for freshwater maybe a lil bit tricky..
Yeah well for freshwater you might wanna paddle your head up with minimal hand movements... But you still won't sink if you got air in your lungs. Tho generally the more salt in the water and the less waves in it, the better.
@@hunormagyar1843 your head wont be above the water if you stand still😂
@@diybeast3943 True. Who said you'll be able to breathe? I just said you'll float xD
Fresh water scares me
You can do it in any water , I do in a swimming pool but obviously I can swim , maybe in an emergency for those who can’t swim it could save a life , any waves 🌊 and that floating is over
Whenever I try this or any other method of floating I literally sink lmao
look up in the sky. and keeps ur legs and arms straight and breathe, ppl cant do it bc they r afraid water enters their ears but it doesn’t matter.
@@isa.star.gurlie I’m not afraid at all I love the water and swim multiple times a week. It just doesn’t work for me. I have taking high level professional classes and they can’t get me to float for their lives.
@@carryeveryday910i think we are not destined to be talented in swimming..
Same.
I just don't float.
Also my muscle mass has increased since the last time I tried, so I probably sink even more now.
I'm also thalassophobic, so I would scared as hell of the sea even if I could float.
There are some people high muscle mass and lean who will just lie on their back at the bottom of the pool when they try to starfish. I'm not sure in salt water with full lungs though, otherwise go to the dead sea, you can float on your back and read a book there!
Once you are off the ship and in the open sea you are in a whole new food chain. And you aren't at the top.
Sharks be like
- ya we never gonna eat you
I've watched mermaid Kayleigh just push their head sideways - like "No shark I have a boyfriend........ eat him" lol. It seemed to work though.
I did that and ended up in the hospital
lol
Learn to swim then
@@muffin8276 That's what bro tried to do.
Shark
Easier said than done. Especially when you have high bone density... My legs have NEVER been that high in water, EVER!
Have you tried thrusting up your tummy and hips? Like doing glute bridge. The lower body will follow suit. If it still won't work, puff up your chest like how you would when someone told you to stand straight. Then breathe in and out normally, slow and steady. Spreading out your arms help too, rather than keeping it to your side.
I was in swimming class today and I magically learned how to swim even though I didn’t know how to swim before ☠️
I finally learned how to swim back in August this year
Pov: your watching this while almost sinking
💀
This is how I do it
1. Let your arms out
2. Lay down in the water
3. Get rid of the stress and anxiety out of your body because that will weigh your body down
4.then relax and focus on calmness and things that make you happy
Bam you can float like your dead in the sea🤓🤩
The savior will understand that he is having fun Starfish on water
It’s all a life hack until a shark thinks your a seal and comes up to you to get a bite
so basically if you are drowning, "BREATHE AIR!"
bro no, first. lie down and spread ur arms and legs wide like a starfish then breathe lol
YOU MUST TRY GO TO SABAH -SEMPORNA MALAYSIA , SURE SUPER GREAT!
What to do if you fall asleep at night while swimming after fall in the.sea
""No more excuses not to swim"" yea right😄 I'm not too friendly with the sea 🌊 You gotta love the sea from a distance😌😊
What to do when you fall in the water and dont know how to swim....

how do u not be able to do that gurl, its so easy. ur probably struggling cause u arent looking up in the sky, not breathing, legs and arms not straight or ur panicking
if u dont know swimming then how the fuck can u survive in water

Bruh i am about to join some classes for this btw thanks!
Me floating in the sea (dont know to swim)
A shark comes by and eats me
When someone was coming for rescue
BTW I know to swim and float and how to swim underwater;)
Unless your a seal, the shark will not be interested in eating you
Shark : hello there 🤗
Me: *trying to lay flat*
Also me: *AhAhAhAh!!!!!!!*
All the people who demonstrate this are the ones who know how to swim 😂trust me if you don’t know how to swim and fall in deep water you won’t be able to calmly do this to save yourself unless you have a very strong mind so you don’t panic.
Man today I went swimming , I had freestyle experience but it was my first time doing survival swimming. You could feel your soul leaving your body
This seems like a fun activity when swimming in a pool. I will save this video so that the next time I will swim, I will do this and will have fun floating in the water
Even though the Lung is not full of air you won't sink, it's just a matter of relaxation
I hate water but I want to try to swim 😮
Finally I learn swimming 😄 but I am not able to flot like this😅
Plot twist: Bro filmed the video in the dead sea
You obviously have positive buoyancy.
Im going swimming today at school and this will help me so much thank you
Yes... I use this tactic all the time in a calm see.. Doesn't work only when multiple big waves crash on u..
If you wanna go inside the water close your eyes and take deep breath and hmmm in the water to get the bubbles out your nose
I know how to swim but I’ve gotten yellow band at 3 different swim tests so now I just hate swimming
I feel like I should explain that you should also have to keep your belly up and head in the water not fully submerged but just to your ears and it will be a lot easier
I self discovered this when I was a kid, but forgot because I was fat. Now I utilize this technique for free diving.
Yeah, have u seen how non swimmers panic, trash around while sinking? They ain’t taking a breath, they are thinking “I’m gonna die!”😅
The floatation also depends on the density and salt level of the water
Make sure your back is straight however
Those who don’t know swimming will mostly panic and none of the theory they know will workout. The best advice is to learn swimming 😊
U got to trust the water.... Definitely
The sea is calm but imagined at night. The sea is marvelous but it might be frighting too.
This is why I am in lane 2 of swimming class
You gonna have a extra force downwards, when you get fall in the water
Anxiety, sharks, going back down: bonjour
Hey, I can’t swim either. When learning this, I felt it was easier to put your head back a bit and lift your hips up to the surface, even with your hips up to the surface you can look around a bit
Very true 👍 just lay back and float. If you're close enough to land, swim towards shore. You can however float for days, if you just keep calm
Have a good day man life's too short
i go for a swim in a indoor pool every week-2 weeks
I have done this before thank you for telling the truth! Because my Friend always throw me at deep water then i do this.
“Never not gonna go down” ☠️ k GOT IT.
the star fish is the most relaxing thing to do in water.
"No more excuses to not go for a swim"
Luffy: uh yea not today
I didn't know how to swim but when my friends invited me to swim in deep water I just jumped and then my body taught itself , idk how but that's how I learned
Don't know when the star fish will become a sea meal😂
i learned how to swim in 2 mins once i let go of my fear! i’m still improving and still trying to float for a long time
Yep me struggling to stay up just remember to star fish😊
Unfortunately, I swim like a rock once I jump I sink to the bottom
Anxiety and panic wil make forget everything
Ik now to swim in a pool and stuff but in the sea I’m like nvm I ain’t going to swim in the sea
You gotta try it. It's a little scary at first but once you get used to it it's one of the most fun things ever

It's not easy for everyone. I'm 18. I'm still trying but I can't do it very well 😢.
@@mamagherbear7082 its ok man try hard 👍
