Watching this just after three men sadly lost their lives on this hill last weekend. Thank you for taking the risk and showing us this beauty that for most of us is best observed on video 😊
Thank you for watching and commenting, it’s all very poignant at the moment after Saturdays tragic events, I guess it shows just how unforgiving the mountains can be at times. Take care, Steven 🏴🏴
I did it many years ago with a friend. One of the best ridge walks anywhere and well worth it if you have a head for heights. Some of views are spectacular. Great video and really shows how scary some bits are.
Thanks for that, it was an amazing experience, yes, scary in parts but thrilling at the same time, would do it again in a heartbeat 😂😂 Take care, Steven 😊👍🏴🏴
Hi Steve, we are wishing you and your folk in Ayrshire a good Christmas, all the best from Aberdeenshire. Look forward to see your videos in 2024, kind regards, Angus & family. Alba gu bràth
"I hope you get to experience it sometime"...... Ummm, noooo! I'm very happy to live this particular experience vicariously thank you!! Absolutely terrifying! This is one of the best videos I've seen of an AE traverse - epic. I spent most of it backing away from the screen with my fists and buttocks clenched, and face contorted in terror/horror! Well done to everyone who has done it, and thank you for filming/posting this. You're completely insane - what a ride! 🙂
I’m going to take each and every word of that as a compliment 😂 Thank you. Tbh I was more afraid on the drive up just thinking about it but once underway it was pure concentration. Without question the biggest thrill I’ve had on the mountains. Would I do it again? In a heartbeat (maybe there is a little insanity in there) 😂 Take care, Steven 😊👍🏴🏴
Just when I was hoping for a relaxing evening I watched this 😂. My palms were absolutely sweating watching this quite literally. Congratulations mate on an epic journey.
Brilliant mate! one of the best videos of the AE I have seen! I was laughing when you got to the pinnacles!!! where do we go from here! There is a crazy down bypass path there but that's the scene a a few fatalities that path! keep to the ridge! brilliant Steven! great drone footage too. Another two in the bag!!!!
Cheers Paul, was a fantastic experience which I look forward to repeating, gutted that the battery died on the GoPro before completing the pinnacles but overall I was happy with the footage I got…remember watching a video that said to ignore all bypass paths so up and over it was lol. Thanks again mate, Steven 😊👍🏴🏴
Enjoying your vids mate. Have subscribed in support! We know how hard it is to make good content and get your UA-cam channel off the ground. Going through it ourselves. Keep up the good work!
Hi Steven hope your well. Came back from a holiday to be treated to 3 videos of yours! Absolutely wowed by your video of ridge! You really did it justice with your excellent footage and music choice. I loved hearing some of your original tracks in video! Don't think you can say anymore " i'm a hillwalker and no more Steven! Huge congratulations to you and your friend for completing the ridge ! No stopping you now Steven! Take care oot there Theresa 😊
Hi there, hope you had a great holiday. When i told her you'd been on the ridge the day before she was sad she had missed you! I'm always telling her about your adventures.
