The long awaited Sequel to my much loved Soviet 1980s mixtape of my favorite Soviet 1980s music. All songs belong to their respected owners and creators.
Born March 1967 and still live in rural Georgia USA. The 80s were great here in regards to music. Reeling off the 70s greats rolling into New Wave, Heavy Metal, Rap and Micheal Jackson. Now in my middle age I can live my alternative reality growing up in Georgia S.S.R. Thank You!
This one is so good, thanks you for the sequel. Only suggestion is some songs are much louder than others? Other than that it is stellar mix, many bands I haven't heard. Thanks again
-Poogachyova managed to save her status of one of the most famous female singers in Russia until 2022 -Lyeontyev did pretty well during 90s and 2000s (same case as Alla Poogachyova) -Forum's songs became legendary, but the band itself didn't exist for long -Mukee had quite impressive sound, so I guess they managed to survive during 90s There were plenty of composers, singers and bands, who couldn't make it to the top - in some cases it was because of Communist Party, in others it was either the "free" market's concurrency or just the bad luck
Honestly, I came here looking for modern Western-style pop rock music to see if the USSR had any good music, but it turns out they did. 00:00 03:56 08:06 16:36 20:23 29:18 33:43 intro Push It To The Limit 46:08 49:40 54:19 The song has a great similarity to "Journey - Separate Ways" but in the part that says "someday love will find your, break those chains that brid you" in this song when it begins it is not very noticeable but at minute 55:30, 55:46, 56:32, 56:47, 57:33, 57:48, 58:02, 58:17, you can see that very similar fragment.
The sequel is absolutely awesome, very rare to get such a great collection. Kaskad kasseta number 1 is pretty good, if you could upload it, it would be even more awesome.
"Мономах" - солист Василий Акимов. Наши американские друзья могут его услышать и увидеть, посетив весенний тур по городам США кавер - группы "Leonid & Friends" ("Chicago", "EW&F").
It looks like someone reuploaded it here! Though it sounds like the pitch/speed had been altered slightly(?) At least from the version in this compilation. ua-cam.com/video/U54RyfrEpNA/v-deo.html
@@kozloverse Update: The only YT upload of that song has been privated. Have you uploaded it anywhere by chance? I should have converted it to MP3 when I had the chance like you did lol

Your recent videos are good. With some strategic editing, they have the potential to attract a wider audience and generate more engagement.
Thanks! Having a job in media has a lot to do with that.

Starting any thing with Alla Pugacheva and I automatically give it a thumbs up.
Just in time!
Somehow I can’t find any resource of Roza Rymbayeva (Роза Рымбаева) in 1989, does someone have a MP3 download link?
