Once I started seeing these new live videos, instantly I was like WOW this is the best case scenario for a touring drummer, he absolutely plays/sounds amazing.
Yes, looking forward to see FF tuesday (23 march 2023), in Montréal, Canada! It's been a long wait! FF only has 3 canadian dates on this tour. (Vancouver (cancelled), Montréal and Toronto).
I dig it....better to have FF then not.... people need to calm down and settle in to this....let me hear a studio album.... Let's be honest hearing any live recordings on UA-cam always leave a lot to be desired!!!
But it's missing so many of the elements that made it fear factory. Burtons lyrics fit the sound of the band, Raymond was an absolute beast on the drums creating this very distinct machine gun like blasts, Rhys added the dark industrial atmosphere.... this is just dino cashing in on the fear factory name with a cover band not even doing that great of a job from what I've seen so far.
I hear ya man. I really don't wanna be that guy that hates on them just for trying to move on. But for me, despite his terrible live clean singing, Burton was and is the face of Fear Factory. That said, if we don't like it we don't have to watch. It's all good.
@@stonybrain Listen to his band Dead Channel and ask yourself if that's what you want for FF vocals. Because I definitely don't. It's what initially made me not want him to be the singer. Him sounding more like Burt, the better, other than he doesn't need to replicate Burt's weaker points.
This is basically the Dino Cazares project at this point. I'd rather see Dino on stage playing his FF riffs than not having Dino on stage. Jmo anyways.
I mean, come on... that is damn the fuck spot on. Dino crafted these great riffs and songs and should be able to perform them live even if Burton has moved on. This is pretty damn faithful to the material and Milo has the vocal cadence down solid. What else do you need?
Much love for Dino, but he should have laid FF to rest. Aggression Continuum was a fantastic closure. I would have been way more stoked over a Dino solo album rather than a FF cover band. Dino and Burton made FF. Much respect for Tony too. Incredibly talented bassist, but he looks bored AF playing Christian's boring bass lines.

We do not care if he is better than Burt or not. He does the job very well, which ist great. He is not Burt 93-99 and will never be. But so what? Now is now and the past is the past. Most important, I do not want a guy that fucks up the songs like Burt did over the last 10+ years...sometimes even looking tired of singing FF stuff. He changed, we all do, and Milo in 10 years will not be Milo today. Once again, so what? Enjoy the show, come to fucking Europe and that's it!!!
I look at it this way regarding Fear Factory. We at least get to see Dino Cazares on stage playing the songs many of us grew up listening to. I idolized Dino back in the day for his awesome, groundbreaking riffs.

The drummer will probably go back to Havok after this tour. Havok are going to tour in the summer.
