- I play a Magic the Gathering Online Legacy league with Golgari Wight of the Reliquary Depths, a deck from Patreon subscriber Austin. This deck features the new zombified version of Knight of the Reliquary from Modern Horizons 3 that converts creatures into lands. A Green Sun's Zenith toolbox sets up creatures for a lands toolbox out of Wight, all the pieces moving in the direction of making a big, unstoppable, 20/20 Marit Lage. Oh and a little Grief Scam package, as a treat. MTG MH3

I have over 1,000 matches with Depths and the simpliest explain to why these non-white Reclaimer decks tend to fail is the mis-evaluation of how important Flagstones of Trokar is to the deck. I think without it, that Elvish Reclaimer just isn't worth playing. Also, the white sideboard cards are actually better to beat BS combo decks and leaving in ways to protect them is also necessary.

17:45 Can you cast crop rotation in response to the chain of vapor targeting their mox for wasteland to remove their last land? That would keep them from being able to copy chain the final time to remove your ophe and get them stuck on 3 mana. They would then have to ponder to try to find another ritual but would not have a deterministic kill.

That match against Necro summarises why I don't like the deck. It's Oops! All Spells but it can whiff. Just play Oops! if you want a turn 1 deck.
I recorded with a non-zenith Wight list that impressed me if you want the list?
This league is why i love blue. If counterspells didnt exist you’d just have people turn 1’ing each other back and forth
aw those two storm decks at the start were rough but Im glad the deck seemed to turn out well. My paper version actually just recently made mana revisions and added mox diamond so I thought it was kinda funny you mentioned that

I took out cultist bc I kept getting stuck in positions where I wanted to depths at instant speed so it was never relevant and so I also took out Surrak bc the only reason he was there was to green suns off of a cultist reduction EDIT: Seems like youtube won't let me comment the moxfield link or the decklist for some reason it got removed sorry :(

I'm glad you remembered to pay your MTGO premium after round 3, otherwise this would have been an extremely quick 1-4 league.
Would Leyline of Combustion work against tendrils? It's turn 0 "interaction" that dissuades storm kills, but I don't know if "copies of a targeting spell" equals more instances of "spell targeting you"
All of the games against stifflenaut were so good.
This deck would probably be pretty good if we added mox diamond and life from the loam and cut the cute cards :P

I believe the tendrils was exiled with galvanic relay, but thats just from memory, can't really check it right now

Deck seems like just a worse version of the cradle control deck tbh
really like your videos but have a hard time watching them at night next to my gf/cat in bed with this „heavy“ intro song :( maybe its a consideration :)
I listen first think in the morning and much preferred the previous intro music which was much softer but still fun.
I agree. I liked the old intro theme.
