I got mines today and installed it was super easy I just needed a little help I was using the wrong screw to put in the mouth but after that it was smooth sailing So far I'm loving it the code and fingerprint scanner is very accurate I love it beginning wheelchair bound it makes life easy to unlock and lock my door I when I'm able to get to the door I love it and it works great with Alexa
My favorite is when I get home the lock unlocked automatically for me when I get close to the door with my phone on me 👍 been having it for three weeks already and I’m coming from using a Schlage Z-wave for about three years ago and I still love my Schlage because if the device stopping working they will send me a brand new one it’s warranty is lifetime too 😅
Thanks for the video. Do you know if you unlock it from the inside to how outside, does it allow you to automatically lock it back up after a set amount of time? I'm looking for the like for my side door so I would want to set it to let's say "lock after 1 hour" of being unlocked.
No my door is closing from the outside you can’t kick in due to the frame of the door but you can prying it open but this lock has a big bolts to secure the lock to the door not like some cheap lock from China I used has a small bolts to secure the lock to the door also my door has an alarm that send to the police so if someone wants to try my lock go for it 😂
You're giving people a false sense of security that metal is not going to break on any deadbolt no matter if it's cheap or not. What's going to break is that wood door jam
I do see your point. It's always the case that if someone wants to get in they will. Working in retail I've seen people take sledge hammers to brick walls to get into buildings so yea whether you have strong secure locks or no locks if people want in they will find a way.
What about my house has 8 cameras installed outside and four inside hidden and they connected to the police too when the alarm triggered swat teams would sent to my house 😂
@@brandonyen7837yeah but they would still get in before the swat team comes wouldn’t they? So like Droid said if someone wants to get in they will, you having cameras and being connected to SWAT won’t actually stop them from getting in. It just means theirs a higher chance they’ll get caught.

Nobody's any more safe with five locks on the door. All you have to do is kick it in with your boot that would breaks

The battery compartment doesn’t look very child proof. Could a toddler easily access the batteries?
I don't think so. The battery cover is fairly sturdy, takes a bit to get it off.

Neither my Alexa or Google does network.. weird.. showing it's working (confirming in app) while does not in reality.. weird.
