Sigma, release these AF/MF lenses. Take the risk. It'll be worth it! First release 28-45 and also one of your primes with the same mechanism. Just don't charge 5 times the price. 2x should be absolute threshold.
smaller focus throw on the sigma would be best.. in fact just a compact 24-70 2.8 FF MF cine zoom would be huge, there are no good FF cine zoom lens for doco at all. 2.8 is plenty fast for doc, even f4 is enough, I'd snap up a proper cine manual focus 24-70 2.8 with a smaller focus throw (160 degrees or the like). There are some nice S35 zooms like this, but no FF equivalent.. forcing us to use focus by wire stills lenses :(
If sigma updated their Cine primes with autofocus (optically the same, except maybe punch up the 24mm and any others that are at the back of the pack), that would be an end-game prime set for me. If it came in at about the 5000$ or less per lens, that is.

100% the future!!!!!
I would love for blazer to make same weight and size for anamorphic autofocus.

can you test the sigma cine zoom with dji focus lidar?
“Very short turn like with the photo lenses” Guys you do know that Nikon Z lenses have linear focus up to 720 degrees, right? 😊
Sigma's own lenses on L mount have a 360° linear focus throw. Panasonic's lenses have up to 1080° linear focus throw.
Laughs in Panasonic L mount
