I finally got my first Taylor about two months ago and it’s not an exaggeration to say it’s totally changed my life. You really don’t know how massive of a difference there is until you own one.
I'm a lefty, so when I wanted a Semi Hollow body, I tried to get Gibson to make me one. They wouldn't. So I got Taylor to make me one. I got the T3/B. Taylor will make any of their models left handed for you at no additional cost. It is a great guitar! The quality is astounding, the neck is one very playable marvel. And it was a little over 1/3 the cost of a Gibson. So I bought a Taylor K26ce to replace my Martin. The Taylor is a beautiful guitar, with really beautiful sound and tone. My Martin's neck is so rough that I can use it to file my finger nails like an Emory board. And it is not from humidity, my guitars are all stored in my music room, with an automatic humidifier set at 50% RH. But my Taylors are made in the USA, my Martin was made in mexico, says so right by the serial number.
Just got a 2022 Taylor acoustic 214ce deluxe sunburst. They play like butter. You'd really have to be pretty green or an absolute beginner ( pun intended ) to mess up on the thing. They make beginners sound good. Good players sound great, and great players sound phenomenal. Can't beat a Taylor. Studio or live.. 😊
I used to have many Martin's ,I kept one martin and I have bought seven Taylor guitars and want more,I've owned just about every guitar name out there and to me nothing beats a Taylor Guitar in my opinion There the best you can own
Taylor’s biggest advantage over other guitar makers is Andy Powers. He’s a genius when it comes to guitar design! Play and listen to a V or C class guitar and this point is proven. The intonation is as good as it gets. These guitars have volume and sustain. I’ve never seen a Taylor out of the box that needed a set up.
So I purchased a 310E quite a few years ago. At the heel where the strap button is screwed in had a crack across it! I called Taylor and they just handled business. I definitely appreciate them, support the brand, and love playing it! I mean...it was free after all! *wink*
Brought my first Taylor about a month ago a 214 ce sbdlx and have been impressed with the build style craftsmanship sound feel and playability they are a bit bright but I don't mind
Mann,I got the Taylor build edition 324ce,and it took about 6 months for the sound to really come out,I started leaving it out of the case more,it just got better and better, and I got Martin Authentics 54×12 on it and it just sings, its a Awesome playing sounding guitar,I feel like it was made just for me..
Went to my local guitar shop to buy a Martin 000-15m… ended up leaving with a Taylor 214ce-k 😅 I never even considered a different brand other than Martin, however when I played both, it wasn’t even close. The Taylor just sounded phenomenal, better than any acoustic I’ve ever played so I ended up walking out of the shop with a better guitar and an extra $600 in my pocket… happy guitarist and wallet
I have a 2009 312CE that I bought new in 2010 which has seemingly gotten better with age. The action is great and tonally it is warm and woody. Martins I've heard seemingly lack this tonal depth. Crucially I have a 2012 Gibson Sonwriter Deluxe Standard which originally cost more than three times as much as the 312 CE and whilst a great guitar with a distinctive tone and fantastic action, is not as comfortable to play due to its dreadnought body.Mike M
you prolly dont give a damn but does anyone know of a method to log back into an Instagram account? I somehow lost my account password. I love any assistance you can give me!
Now explain the BT1, BT2, BT1e, BT2e, TSBT(e) & BTe-Koa 😀 Here's the answer: B (Baby) T (Taylor) 1 (Spruce top) 2 (Mahogany top) e (Electronic pick up) TSBT (Taylor Swift Baby Taylor), the KOA one is self explanatory.
I love Taylors. I've gigged a 110e for years. I wanted an upgrade so I bought a 314ce. I liked it until I discovered the 324ce. I traded the 314ce in for the 324ce and ill never look back. In terms of tone, looks and feel my 324ce is the best acoustic guitar I've ever played and I've played $6,000 Martin's, vintage Gibsons and Taylor will always be my go to choice when it comes to acoustic guitars. I only own Gibson electric guitars too including a vintage 1961 Les Paul Jr so I'm not being biased or being boomerish like most dipshit youngsters like to throw out there. If I was being boomerish I'd never consider a Taylor
I bought a Taylor 317e last year. I would say that the build is excellent and it has settled in really well. However, white marks started to appear under the finish after about 6 months. I took it to a bespoke guitar manufacturer near my house and he said that it was due to layers of the finish being applied too quickly. A sloppy build that was a bit amateurish in his words. I contacted Taylor whose 'experts were both clueless and disinterested. They told me I must have knocked it against a wall (!) and got paint on it. Then I was told to send it to Amsterdam from the UK at my expense to have it checked, with the implication that they did not believe me. When I complained the 'expert' told me that she was 'sorry I felt that way' and offered NO solutions. I gave up. My guitar is now an advertisement for Taylor. Great build, shoddy finish and no custom service. Buy a Martin instead. Taylor has grown too fast and left their craftsmanship behind. They no longer really care.

Thanks pmtvuk
Great video. Is the Taylor neck pretty slim, like an electric? I’m thinking about a 812ce.
For those prices, some of them should almost play themselves!
Well done! Explanation of the models/series, woods etc., is the best I've seen! Concise and informative!

@Harlan Rohan Instablaster :)
They are certainly beautiful 😍guitars
Love my taylor !
Got my K24 CE. Worth every pennies
Acoustic guitars is where the prices are justified.
How rare are the redwood versions of the 414 varient of the guitars
I hear they lack bass I have a Taylor big baby 2015 all acoustic and they don’t sound loud when your really playing it muffles out it lacks loudness

I've played hundreds of acoustic guitars. Now I understand why I paid 4 grand for Taylor guitar.

I’ve had my 324ce since 2014. Went in expecting to buy a Martin and I played every martin, and walked out with the 324. Amazing guitar!
Mann you might decipher the code but never that price!!!🤗

Have a 114ce and EVERYONE wants to buy it off me! It's amazing. But over my dead body!!
I got that Guitar i play hard rock and American country style of music and it's so easy for me to play Eliza Jane from United kingdom northern Ireland
I have a high end Taylor and a high end Gibson, play and jam every weekend. My Taylor is for sale.
Taylor’s are way to bright for my taste
Yup...it's a stellar guitar but has it's place. Martin and Gibson fill more styles imo.
🤣🤣🤣
