Guess what, i was at that game!! I was at the opposite end but the play didnt look like it was 40 yards. I just remember freaking out. When they scored the stadium exploded! I hugged and high fived random people around me. That is what Notre Dame is all about. Tradition and great feelings, anytime im there im speechless. Go Irish!!!!!
I'm going to the Notre Dame-Navy game in Baltimore this weekend. OMG, even though we didn't win national titles recently...these games and years were when we actually had a lot to cheer about. I hope one day we have games and seasons that mimic these kinds of games....

The program is in no way failing. We have the number 1 recruiting class in the country coming in next year. We have one of the best coaching staffs in the country. This is a rebuilding year. Give the program about 2 years to rebuild.

the schools do pick who they play. OSU had a two year home and home agreement with Texas for 04 and 05. We are finishing up an agreement with Wash in 07. Also we have agreements with Oklahoma and Miami (Fl) for the future. A lot better than what ND has been scheleduling.

07-ND does have the tougher scheledule-only b/c of USC. But ND finishes w/four of the easiest games possible (Navy, AF, Duke and Stanford) while 3 of our 4 last games are Wis, PSU and Mich. That's the difference.

I don't think so, how about Penn State, Michigan, Boston College, Michigan State, Georgia Tech, and even Purdue...All are having up years this coming season, and all have veteran QB's...If you don't believe me, even Rivals ranks Notre Dame's schedule this year as the 13th hardest schedule among ALL 130 or so division 1A schools

ND already plays 1/2 of a Big Ten scheleudle every yr-(Mich, MSU, Pur, PSU). USC played the worst possible game against UCLA and since you mention USC-talk about a program that's filled with violations

We tried. Quinn threw no interceptions compared to booty's 2 interceptions in a row thrown. USC has no shot at Ohio State.
