I think it makes sense to leave the old characters behind since their stories have reached a good ending. Especially with Carlos gone (RIP) bringing them back would just feel more empty than anything. Plus if they kept them it might make the film a little too packed trying to find something for all of them to do. Plus there are a bunch of Villains left whose kids still have stories to tell.
Two of the cast members of the previous movies those being Uma and Fairy Godmother are going to be in the movie
I hope they put a small part for Mal and Ben saying they are expecting a baby and then end the story after going back in time with the baby being born. I would like to see how that would play out.
I think they should bring in Mal and Ben so that they can have a baby and I think this movie will get lots of hate after all they are changing the whole story line and it's just not right

@@OliviaConnolly-mk1iwI understand where you're coming from, but they are trying to feature new characters and I understand that, too. The Descendants world can't grow if you feature the same characters in every movie. Having said that, I'm bummed to not see Mal and Ben since there will be a royal baby at least mentioned. I don't know how Uma will be used, but it wouldn't surprise me to see Fairy Godmother back as headmistress of Auradon Prep.
I really wish that the rest of the gang from the first three Descendants could be on here also. Cameron Boyce may have died, but his spirit still lives on, and he would not want the cast to quit. He would want them to keep moving on in the movies for Descendants.

If they ever make a desendance 5 they should have both the old characters and the new characters play in the movie for a rap up of the descendants franchise. That would be so cool. Well obviously we won’t be seeing Carlos but in the movie they can make a excuse to make it seem likes it’s apart of it. Kinda like in desdendance 3 how Mal and uma where both kinds apart they can do the same for red’s side and mal’s side. I think that would be the perfect rap up for the franchise

First of all I am super excited for this to happen and to plan to watch it when it comes out soon. I think the mysteries and hidden secrets in the movie are really amazing because when need to her from the parents point of view and same for the kids. I do feel bad for Cameron Boyce but his spirits are set for this film it must go on with his heart ❤

Descendants is about the main four OG, if you get ride of them, than it honestly shouldn't be called Descendants 4, but should be called something else. There's nothing wrong with the movie and where it's set, it sounds great, I just don't think it's smart to name something after Descendants and not have very many of the OC.

I hope Descendants 4 is some sort of working title. This would work better as a spin-off as opposed to an actual sequel. Also, we didn't really need an explanation as to why the barrier was there. Villains were on the isle, that's all we needed to know. I'll still watch it, but my expectations are low. Not in hell, but low.

It makes scene that Mal, Evie, and Jay aren't in the next movie bc Carlos (RIP) isn't here anymore and it will be a bit hard on them doing the scenes without him so it makes easy sense but it will still be weird without them all in the movie.

Hi, um Prince Charming who is Audrey's boyfriend his is named after his father Prince Charming who is married to Cinderella. Also the reason Disney creates have been setting characters like Cinderella as black, is because they want to say that they matter and are equal, and they are but some people sadly miss treat them.
