How to get your air suspension to lower

How to fix air suspension not lowering.
Airmatic will not lower.
Hello! in this video I show you how to diagnose the compressor pressure relief valve in order to get your air suspension to bleed off the pressure so it can lower. What happens is when the valve block opens to bleed off the air the valve is supposed to also open, when it does not it ends up using air from the storage tank which then fills the struts and bags to max height which is not only dangerous but can cause failures of the bags due to blowouts.
The testing is simple you are checking for about 7-8 volts when pressing the lower switch , if you have voltage then the valve is bad, even if its clicking and making noise.
I have seen this a LOT with Arnott air compressors. I am not a fan of Arnott anymore, I used to be, but lately the quality has been terrible., like 50/50.

Hi Lou I have a 2015 GL550 and lately the suspension has become stiff like no difference between sport and comfort mode it would do it randomly until now it’s always stiff everything seems to work fine and no leaks, I replaced the block but it’s still the same, I was told it could be a bad damper valve at one of the struts than can cause the stiff ride

I have a 2006 cls55 and rear passenger side always seems to be lower than other side when car is on and off..only time it’s same height is when I press button to raise car
Been having issue with original rear bags and just replaced with arnott bags and same issue still..any idea??

there is a test within the scanner that will test the pressure relief valve as well as the valves in the shocks and the reservoir.

that is the test I was doing with the scanner. there is another one I did not show that shows the actual pressure of the system.
