Great interview. When Guy was talking about his dusty office/leather elbow patch/ university aspirations, I was reminded of Indiana Jones (at least in the 1st video game. Never saw the entire movie.)
Loved your stage presence and virtuosity on the Pink Floyd I have followed. You are humble. You were an equal.part of everything Pink Floyd accomplished.
@@ForBassPlayersOnly I follow your great channel (I have a music oriented channel too) recently I listened to some records where there is a bassist called Doug Rauch, he played in billy Cobham’s record life & Times, and also in Santana’s album. Would you create an episode on him? With some interview of his colleagues or parents ? I think he was one of the greatest of his period, but he prematurely died.
Fantastic bassist/musician! Funny bloke, too. I also highly recommend his book! I thoroughly enjoyed reading that, a couple of years ago. Nice one, Guy... \m/ (:o)
Yeah, the yankee pronunciation was a bit shite, but then again they do say wHere, wHen, wHy, etc. as we do in Scotland, so they can't be all bad. Or they can't all be bad. Or sumfink, as the English would say.
loved him in Icehouse!
Cool! Thanks, Morgan.
Brilliant musician....but such a funny and genuine bloke! xx
