I ordered mine in February with snow on the ground. I got my new 2022 x394 in mid April and finally got to mow last week. It was awesome. I added the electric mulch control, bumper, 12v outlet and the Bluetooth module to connect with my phone. Thank you for covering the 2022 John Deere x394 Brent! It's a sunny Saturday and it's mow time!
@@paulli405 it tells me how many times I have mowed this season, time for each mow, average time, shows the route I took, displays the particulars about the tractor (hours, full level, notifications etc) from the last time the app was on contact with the tractor. It also lets you know about service reminders. It tells you how long since your last mow, what time the sun sets so you can plan and also how much rain you have received since your last mow.
Thanks to talking about X394. I would like you to show about , how to attach the all attachments. Snowplow, Deack, Shade cover for driver ect... I have all the attachments it's very hard to find installation. Their is no instructions to install. You're the only hope for us... Thanks 😊
you're not kidding 4 wheel is crazy! i test drove a 354 at the dealer today thinking it would be gimmicky... yeah i might be placing an order for one now. that was too cool man!
Upgraded my 2017 x330 for a 2019 x390. Now you have me wanting to upgrade to x394. I love my x390 with the one touch mulch control, electric spreader, snowblower, and hopefully soon getting the sweeper with the thatcher and an aerator. I’ve got the Bluetooth module on order. John Deere makes some great machines.
@@cory2146 it does excellent. Having the hydraulic deck lift is great for the snowblower. The power steering is great to have with the extra weight of the blower.
Thanks for all of the videos that you have made!!! Just ordered a x384 with electric mulch control! The 394 was tempting but I really don't need the power steering and hydraulic lift.
Brent I purchased a Z970R. Would sure appreciate you sharing best method, tools to clean the underside of the 72 inch deck. I purchased the Jack you demonstrated.
You make great videos. You should put the magnetic hitch pin LP63738 in a video. I happen to see them at my dealer and I now use my 17P cart a lot more having it is 10 times easer to hook and un hook.
So their are two different options on the X300 series mowers. You have the electric mulch control that has a switch that goes on your dash to open and close the door or their is the manual version. To get a cost on these check us out at 247parts.com and call our customer support line to get the price. I hope this helps and thanks for watching!
Joseph, I added the electronic mulch control when I bought mine. They add a switch next to the PTO for it. It’s a must have option IMO, if I need to convert either to mulch or discharge it’s the flick of a switch. With the plug, you would have to constantly stop put it on then start again. It’s time consuming. I do not remember the pricing I paid for it but IMO, it’s worth the cost and convenience. Good luck
So next to the "Traction Assistance" it says (If Equipped) and this becomes a feature on the X500 series that will add a differential lock or traction assist system to the mower.
@@WesternEquipment , thanks I noticed that after I made the comment. Thanks for the great reveiws, I had a local deal track down a 394 for my dad to look at and he ended up buying it. I have an x540 but it I ever get another new one it will definitely be a 4 wheel steer.
I have the new X380 for my 3 acre block which is the same seat. I’m 6 foot and find the JD really comfortable, and I could push the seat back more if I needed too. I think this model with power steering and adjustable steering wheel would only improve the ride.
I have this exact one and it is very comfortable. I have a very hilly 2 acres and aside from a little heavy on fuel consumption, it’s perfect for the size and terrain.
The good news is that JD finally provided a seat with a replaceable cover. The bad news is that the cover alone is $233. This is more than what an entire new replacement seat used to cost. So be careful what you wish for. :-)
And the tragic news is that John deere is a plastic toy and they are relatively junk...guys like Brent are trained to con the underwear right off the consumer..this John deere is not under any circumstances worth the price tags..power steering? Seriously Why? What's a factual answer for that...plastic hoods John deere and Brent see people like you coming a mile away
No, you are correct. I don't put prices in the video because they vary from place to place and as the video ages prices may change as well. Your best bet is to contact a local dealer to get an accurate price. Thanks for watching!
Not both, just one to press the button and as soon as you start going in reverse you can put it back on the wheel. Where were you getting that you needed to take two hands off?
Dude, you need to learn to GET TO THE EFFING POINT! Less bla-bla-bla. You don't need to show us the Kawasaki sticker. Just tell us that it is a Kawasaki engine -- done, now you've saved 30 seconds worth of pointless babble.

Wayne, how do you like the interaction between the Bluetooth and phone? What kind of data is it providing you?

I’ve been heavily considering a zero turn for my home, but I have to say these 4 wheel steering models are having me reconsider my choice.
Just ordered one and I’m cranked to get it! With all the trees I have I’m really pumped for the 4 wheel steer
Love your instructional videos, sir. You likely just sold me on the X394.
Awesome! I'm glad you enjoy them and thanks for watching!

Brent, that's one nice mower. Thanks for the video and have a great weekend.
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Absolutely a wicked machine.
4 wheel steering rules!
Great review man!
Thank you and thanks for watching!

Thank you. Very informative video. Can't wait till next spring to get mine.

Well think of it this way, you have your next upgrade already picked out. How long have you had your X390?
How well does a x390 handle a snowblower?
@@cory2146 it does excellent. Having the hydraulic deck lift is great for the snowblower. The power steering is great to have with the extra weight of the blower.
We really like it. It's very helpful.
Thanks a lot to bring X394
Good deal, I’m glad I could help. Thanks for watching!
Hi, great video, I have a question please. I have a 2015 44 inch snow blower,
does the hydraulics work to lift the snow blower also? Thank you!
I believe this all depends on on the type of mount the blower has.

Awesome tutorials. Thank you so much!!!
Thank you and glad I can help!
Hello buddy! What is the difference between that one and the X324 ?
The main differences are that the X394 has more HP and it has power steering and power deck lift. Good question and thanks for watching!

What accessory would I need to add for mulch control and what would the cost be?

Joseph the push button is SOOOO worth it!!!
I noticed on the sticker, it says traction assistance, what exactly is that?

Which riding mower is the best.
This all depends on the person's preference and what application the mower is going to be used for. Thanks for watching!
Nice mower, this model is one of the ones that interest me. My concern is comfort level and leg room.
I would suggest to definitely go test drive one and see what you think. I hope this helps and thanks for watching!

How much
How much is the 394
These are usually going around the $6800 range. Thanks for watching!
I paid $6900 but I also added the electronic mulch control which IMO, is a must have. Remember, just MY opinion.
Comfortability? Comfort.
So, you have to take your hand off the wheel to cut backwards. Both hands even. Can't wait to fall off and get rich.
