I put tokens out when there is an icon on a SS so I don’t lose track and then remove the token when the SS is defeated. Apparently I’ve been playing it wrong for 3 years…
Honestly most vilians from sinister motives i think i know but then realise halfway that i forgot to do something every turn, happens to me too often. Same with mutagen formula, usually halfway notice i never added extra threat after getting damaged. Then the whole run feels like a waste haha. An accidental undeserved win is worse than loosing in this game for me
Yup carelessness is the biggest one for me too. I end up playing through stuff so fast because I "think" I know everything that's happening and then I end up missing triggers and stuff.
The BuyTheSameToken tokens have helped me some much to keep forgetting things like ‘when defeated’ triggers, ‘plus 1 attacks’ etc. I also like using them for exhausting so much better than turning the cards 90 degrees.
You have swayed me on the 4th silhouette being Mystique disguised as Senator Kelly. It makes a ton of sense. My heart wants a Magneto hero tho, so I will hold out hope. Team Blind Play all day!!
I blind the villains too! I also make a deck and hope it works. If it doesn’t, then I can make adjustments for next game. I also prefer to go through the campaign first before taking them on solo. Great minds think alike!
I have to read through the villain cards some or I will mess everything up. I still remember my first game against Hella I was "dang this was one of the easiest villains ever." Then reviewed the cards and realized I totally messed up her whole main scheme/minion progression system
Nah, it's not going to be Mystique. Here's the reasoning. The X-Men heroes and storylines we have in MC Caleb has pulled from the early 90's. Bishop's hairdo and look, for example, are directly pulled from the 1990's. If you look at the X-Men lineup from 1991, and we assume one of the silhouettes is Ice-Man, the only heroes we don't have from that lineup are Prof. X and Beast. Beast is the logical choice. While Mystique does appear during this time, her appearances are scattered and typically only as a supporting character.
I agree. I'm putting my money on Beast being an Ironheart-like level-up character who starts the game in his old First Class Human Form (where the silhouette comes from), and levels up through his various 4 forms throughout the game.
I’m a newbie so the most common mistake I make is forgetting to draw a card when spider-man is attacked by the villain.

I love the Reddit Reply videos. Never stop doing this!

Iron man and Nova…Nova starts with a free resource and fast events. That keeps the board in check while Tony builds out.

When I play a new villain, I’ll look at their cards just because I’m curious but I don’t necessarily plan around their cards

Fingers crossed there is an Ice Man hero announcement in two weeks. Winter Solstice falls on Thursday 12/21… feels like a good match for that one!
I blind-run too for genuine surprises.

Am I really going to buy Valkyrie now? I think you should be on commission for every Valkyrie hero pack FF sell 😂
Boy you don’t know your heroes starting left to right Cannonball, jubilee, wolfs bane, last one I’ll admit I’m stumped on but would say ice man.
I would also be fine with this
I'm kinda done with Marvel Champions. It doesn't seem they're gonna be stopping the mutant run anytime soon
They're stopping it after the next box. It was always going to be a three box run.
Yeah next mutant box is last. At least for a while
