Wow this is very helpfull! Thankyou for taking the time to make this video. By the way My car is a 1947 14 sports saloon. Now I know exactly what the latch pieces are supposed to look like. Also you are right the hood hinge piece on my car looks to be home made. Its not cast like yours. With thoes i see thar my my stainless piece is correct length. I have been in contact with some of the contacts you gave me. Mike Evans is putting together a package of stuff i am going ti buy. Overall i think im well on my way to having a complete car soon.

That's good, when I saw your photo I didn't think it was a twelve. Yours and mine are the same then but mine has a 16 engine - identical apart from bore size.
Let me know if I can help with anything 👍

Thought I would say Hi and let you know I'm still gathering bits and bobs for the Rover but have been doing lots of repairs to it and driving as much as I can. headed out last night in the rain to my daughter's homecoming. To watch her perform with the band. It was a good way to test the heater i just resoldered a pipe and repaired the blower. I havs sourced a 3.90 ratio rear diff from a P 4. That should make the car more drivable for long distance. Today i am going to adjust the voltage regulator a bit more and the valves. such fun that car makes an impression everywhere it goes. Hope your enjoying your car as much as i am mine. Ryan

@@59redwing that's good news, I have a p4 diff in mine too and it improves the drive.
Take a look at the valve rockers if they remain noisy even after adjustment. They can wear a dimple in the surface that makes adjustment difficult.
      Have fun 👍
