I've been saying this for a while since I got my Pipedream Moxie but modern geo HT's can do anything, it's what the rider dares to do WITH them. Absolutely insane seeing a guy tackle Fort Bill and *still* hit the big gnarly DH bike lines!
I feel more comfortable on my hardtail with flats then I do on my Enduro bike. The Enduro makes me feel disconnected from the trail and my riding is more laid back.I like how a hardtail makes you focus on body positions and you can feel feedback on every obstacle you smash through.
NIIIIIIICE!!!! Finally some more hardtail action. We need more of these riders showing that a hardtail is worthy of a rough terrain. Fuck the "gotta have a 4000€ worth fully" to ride properly!!! At my local trailpark, people own fullys worth 3000€ and up, who can't even ride nor come near my speed with my hardtail. Nice video. Keep it up 👍💪
there's two groups of ppl online , one run the 400$ hardtails claiming around internet how fast they are and how its awesome and then the other group on 4000$ hardtails claiming the same but less loudly. go figure. hardtail is an interior design. works within its limitations (as seen on the above vid as well)
I remember doing monkey trail at Cannock on a fully rigid Kona. V brakes too. I still only have hardtails...the look on peoples faces (and of course all the full sus bikes) at trail centres sometimes made me think I was the only person who still rides them. Speaking to one of the mechanics in the bike shop (who also rides full sus) says riding full sus means you don't have to think about lines etc. For me that's part of the joy and with my aging eyesight sometimes the challenge ;). Onlg got my first dropper post a couple of years back - never thought I was bothered by them but the speed and comfort/safety going downhill made it well worth the upgrade.

SOLID….the hardtail movement is on!
A steele hardtail with flatpedals in Fort William... Perfect!
Something about hardtails, love to see these and love to ride them. Awesome upload.

i like to ride without a dropper and without saddle on top of it, i love how it makes me feel more connected
Love the balance and feeling you get on the bike after a day on flats + a modern geometry hardtail. Sick Euan!
I guess he didn't listen to the haters who said you can't do that on a hardtail lol
You are right. I couldnt manage the 2 biggest rock gardens on the Enduro bike!!

Ride it on a rigid harttail.
Rigid and hardtail are two different bikes 🤦♂️
@@DavidFoundCo No suspension. Better? Like my Trek 830 27 years ago.
@@petedog9581 Ride it on a rigid penny farthing then, why settle on some rigid 27y.o. bike ;D
@@laurynasjagelo5075 How about a high wheeler...or a unicycle?
@@petedog9581 Don't tempt the unicyclists! They'll do it!
