As a training cardiologist (currently in my first year of fellowship), I highly recommend for you to go to a cardiologist and have them do further testing (ie Holter monitor, event monitor (esp if your palpitations are uncommon)). All the best! And excellent review.

106.. avg. heartrate.. 190.. without reason. Seriously guys, if that heartrate doesn't fall down, she should talk with a doctor. (If she hasn't already)
She probably has SVT (like I do). If you’ve been checked out by a doctor it can be fine as long as you can get it to stop. If it happens to often you can have an operation for it though
a heart rate of 200 is not normal ever, except for specific conditions like an unhealthy overweight male under extreme duress, certain recreational drugs and medications, your body's initial compensation for (medical/trauma) shock, or underlying heart disease. SVT isn't a disease that some people have, it is just a tachycardic arrhythmia that your heart goes into when its rate becomes so high that the conduction impulse begins in the ventricles as they assume the role of the pacemaker in your conduction cycle, as your sinus node is either unable to keep up or just gets pushed out of the cycle, represented by absent P waves in the EKG. in Sara's case, it would be extremely concerning at her age for her resting rate to get up that high, if there was no apparent cause, (which at her age leaves only serious congenital diseases like Wolf-Parkinson-White syndrome or endocrine disorders) but a wicked anxiety attack definitely could cause it, as her body is just dumping epinephrine/norepinephrine in preparation for an imminent threat. hyperventilation can inhibit co2 elimination which fucks up a lot of metabolic shit momentarily as well. tachycardia is always best treated by fixing the underlying cause, which is easier said that done in her case. I'm glad to see that she learned coping mechanisms and seems to be dealing with her stress/anxiety. she doesn't need medication unless her anxiety is significantly disruptive to her daily life (the definition of a mental health disorder), which is a last resort because treating anxiety with medication is very ineffective in lots of ways. id reccomend talking to a behavioral psychologist or therapist. that being said, I would feel like a bad paramedic and public health advocate if I didn't remind you that having chronically high heart rate and blood pressure is not good for you. ironically, you most likely won't experience the health consequences for decades, but it will catch up to you eventually with a terrible illness/event. also during the tachycardia itself, your heart is significantly more vulnerable to ectopic rhythms, lethal ventricular arrhythmias, or combined with an underlying diseases of the endocrine or renal systems, could lead you to having a major cardiac event at a way too young age. or significant dehydration could cause a syncopal (fainting) episode while your driving. and the higher the rate; the more vulnerable cardiac cells become. follow up with your doctor. I can promise you if someone at her age and (im assuming) short or absent medical history goes into an ER for transient tachycardia, they will just do basic blood work to rule out major acute life threats and tell you to fuck off to your primary care physician P.S. please don't rely on, utilize for, or in anyway seriously consider any vital signs that are recorded by a smart watch. they are AT BEST a ballpark number and the actual recording process can be influenced by a dozen factors. the hospital grade pulse oximeters on our units get a 10-15 beat discrepancy compared to the continuous EKG reading on a $40k Lifepak15 all the time. a 4 year old can learn how to palpate and count a cartoid pulse rate. and your oxygen saturation is always gonna be 95% unless you are acutely experiencing dyspnea or have been diagnosed with COPD at age 65 and still smoke a pack a day. the "EKG" feature is just a shitty party trick that no one should take seriously ever.
the IP rating for dust means it only protects the device from dust ingress. It means nothing about whether or not the device will attract dust or not..
@@ziv_tendoora some people do..... I would argue against "most" lmao. And regardless it's still that much more material to manufacture for such a small product
Sarah you should discuss with your doctor about your symptoms. Heart rate of 200bpm at rest could be a sign of supraventricular tachycardia. An easily fixable heart condition.
Blood O2 and ECGs are likely fine to use whatever age but Apple just didn't receive FDA approval to class the watch as a paediatric device. They have different rules for adult and paediatric medical devices.

Sarah, I’m a paramedic in the states. The high heart rate and palpitations is an arrhythmia (not normal heart rhythm) called SVT. It can be cause by accessory (extra) electrical pathways in the heart. It can become a more dangerous rhythm if not managed. The anxiety feeling is caused by the heart rate (anxiety will cause increased heart rates but only sinus tach around 100-130). If you haven’t already consult your doctor about this. Breathing exercises work because they act on a nerve called the vagus nerve that slows down HR. Sometimes those breathing techniques wont work (commonly called vagal or valsalva maneuvers) and pharmacological or electrical intervention is needed. Stay safe!
I had the same pairing failed issue on my iPhone 12..I had to reset the whole process and it finally worked! Kinda inconvenient and took away from the "simple" setup.
A heartrate of 190+ without physical activity!? I presume. Happens quite a bit to me as well, and spooks you further down. However, I've now come to realise at these moments it might be high, but not nearly as high as it thinks. Reposition it and try again, it's usually poor contact with the wrist and condensation that's responsible.

I defiantly love Sarah! would love to see her return to do more segments on the channel
My Apple Watch arrived yesterday and I have the same excitement, we need more unboxing with Sarah! She's great :)
Also my Apple Watch did't pair correctly until I restart my iPhone and the Watch haha
Love seeing Sarah in more content! Solid video
PROTECT HER AT ALL COST! She's an angel.
Sarah is awesome, would like to see her more

Sarah is really good on screen, hope her anxiety issues and nervousness get better over time, she seems like she has it all under control but that heart rate, hooo boy. Love the Sarah/Jono dynamic. We need more of this please! I even love watching Yvonne/Madison on camera. Good job Sarah!
It's definitely NOT Daddy.
best comment 😂
