Man, you nailed it!!! I'm not a modelling expert, but I am a former military aviator and have been around bookoo aircraft of all types. I'm currently building a Super Hornet for a present for my son who is training to be a Naval strike pilot.
The F18 is one of the rare aircrafts to have the ailerons lowered with the flaps when the flaps are actuated so that the trailing edge of the wing is uniformely down form root to tip. I think the ailerons should be flush with the flaps, unless the ailerons are flush with the wing when the aircraft is not powered which I am not aware of..
what were the flasher units you used, i assume you used grain of wheat bulbs? if so did you use the n-scale flashers found on lovomotives for the flasher units in the tail fins?
Nice work all around man!
So realistic, very passionate in every angle,

Awesome!😍😍😍
Hands down the sharpest F/A-18 model I have ever seen. I would love to see a tutorial on how you did your cockpit lighting.
Perfect Model. What do you use for the formation lights ?
Stunning work!!!!!!!! The extra stuff is amazing.....are landing gears metallic ones?
How do you light the formation lights? (Green strips)
Did you use leds or optic fibers for the landing gear? I would like to do the same for my f18 (1/32 scale).
Nice job clonefox80 !!! What is the calour code for that smokin growler ?

Did it go together nice. Or was there lots of putty and sanding?
