What a pleasure it's been to watch another one of your adventures! Many many thanks for putting out such quality content and allowing us to share your joy of flying. And what a finale! Those trees at 11:00 had me puckered, and that surge to the left at 14:12 really did a good job of showing it isn't all just looking at pretty scenery from a flying hammock! I can't wait for the next adventure, untill then, happy flying! Cheers!
Flubberzwans g Cheers, glad you enjoyed the films. It was a great adventure for me, and those last two incidents were the only dodgy moments during the whole trip...
Great videos, just a few things..... Flying from Levico you need to fly all the way to fara d'Alpago, then fly to Valdobiadienne via Revin Lago, then keep turning right via Montebelluno, then to Bassano. If you try to cross the Valsugana valley before Feltre you run into trouble verry easily....especially the very narrow valley were the highway runs from Trento to Bassano. It almost allways has a very strong and turbulent wind.At the end it funnels out into the Brenta valley, were it meets the afternoon thermal breeze comming from Bassano, wich makes for epic convergence flying. Keep on making these trips, but please don' t fly wild xc on your own.....it gives me the willies....take care, greetz from Belgium.
@@TimPentreath Sure,I will do my best, you could also watch the flight on youtube,I think it was a flight from Bassano during a competition.I will first share the link for that one.
Absolutely superb ! Thanks for sharing your adventure. This last flight, phew, I felt relieved myself when you landed. Conditions a tad spicy ? Brilliant Tim, simply brilliant :-)
9:40 The wind thas comes from the front is forced up the mountain. Since its a triangular mountain, much of the wind flows around the corner --> with lots of sink as well again
@@TimPentreath Yea, right:) I went through this myself and wanted to write it down for others. Thx for sharing this trip. It was a huge inspiration for me, not being into vol-biv.

Alfred Tapscott Yeah, it would have been a shame to end the trip stuck in a tree in the side of a mountain 😂 I think they were the only dodgy incidents the whole trip... See you next year!!
ahhh flying from Panarotta it's tricky. Most of the time there is a rotor because of the north wind. Doesn't have good termal activity until afternoon unless is a super day for flying and in the afternoon there are planty of clouds and you risk some storm. But when is good it s lovely place to fly. Awesome 800k. just like that
Inaugural you said... meaning there might be another one in 2021? BTW you seemed to get the best 10 days of the whole summer. At least in the northern alps we´ve few good days this summer and mostly always just one or two together.
