- The reincarnated Thin Lizzy plays its first ever gig in the U.S. under the BSR moniker and ends its 19-song set with a pair of classic Lizzy tunes at the renovated Aztec Theatre. Here is my San Antonio Metal Music Examiner review with slideshow, and check out the SAMME on Facebook: www.examiner.co...
Thank God that our generation can still listen to immortal songs like this LIVE!
Proof that great songs will never die. Here we have the BSR version of a Lizzy cover of a Bob Seger song released in 1973! Rosalie will live forever.
Scott nothing wrong with keeping your new band sounding as great as Thin Lizzy! God bless Phil:) keep on Rocking!🎵🎵❤
I was there up against the stage in front of Scott Gorham's amps - what an amazing show! One of the best for me in a long time. Went cause I love Thin Lizzy left being a huge of Black Star Riders fan. Thank you for posting this!
Thanks for answering my question as a first time viewer of this band, It IS Scott Gorham.... WOOOOWWWWW.
God Bless Scott and the boys for flying the Lizzy flag!
a great line up Scott thanks for your respect for Phil by changing the bands name This is your new band and continue to make new music Black Star Riders love the logo as well. Hope to see Us tours as well!
Guitarman3348 I couldn't have said it better! Love BSR and TL
RorysStrat Tremendous
Looking forward to seeing BSR at Butlins Minehead Feb 2015. Lifelong fan of Thin Lizzy. R.I.P. Phil Lynott
I saw them in Michigan . Best show I've seen in years !!! Thanks for posting .
Looking forward to Moondance Jam in WALKER Minnesota and seeing these guys. Great venue and a much needed party time!
Long Live Lizzy...Thank you BSR...
Looking forward to seeing these guys in WALKER. Minnesota at Moondance jam. Going to be such a great time and one of the best venues ever"
heard you guys for the first time today on Ozzys boneyard, thought it was thin lizzy! You guys are terrific! Great new music, finally!
Jimmy and Marco, a rhythm section to be reckoned with.
Their second album is even better (we do miss Marco though). These guys just seem to gel perfectly, have a lot of fun, and bring back real guitar rock to a generation that may have not been around to buy vinyl albums when they first came out. When album covers meant something (thank you Jim Fitzpatrick!) and exploring the actual album notes and pictures, along with the new tunes, was like a journey into something new. We miss that with just downloading hundreds of songs these days.
John Marchak the second is still their best
they should play Opium Trail for the encore aswell
See you in Belfast in late Autumn. xx
Live and Dangerous. Awesome.
'Blackstar' Riders using Marshall? Mind blown.
Yes! 😊
its funny their version of Whisky in the Jar is so much closer to Metallica
Really really really good. Lizzy wud be chuffed
Phil actually hated this song!
when scott joined thin lizzy he said as long we never play whiskey in a jar,so this must be some kina repect
Dottern var på Irland i år på ridlärer. Jag önskar jag kunde vara med på Grafton Street och sett Kopparstatyn av Philip Lynott, denne gigant inom rockmusiken!
not a fan of that intro thing that Damon does, but i love his playing otherwise..
As a Lizzy fan,I know I'm in a minority of one, but,I never liked this song, apart from Eric Bell's playing......
Sorry,but this version stinks...Too brutal,nearly as vile as Metallica's .....
Well at least you know that you are the minority fair play to you
I love Lizzy ......but not WITJ either , I always skip that song.
I feel the same, I love philo’s singing and Eric’s playing and just can’t listen to the song
