The classic line-up of Def Leppard was: Joe Elliott (vocals), Rick 'Sav' Savage (bass), Steve Clark (guitar), Phil Collen (guitar) and Rick Allen (drums)... Original guitarist Pete Willis was fired in 1982 and replaced by Phil Collen.
Steve Clark (guitar) was an original member, died in 1991 and was replaced by Vivian Campbell (guitar) in 1992 til today.

The lyrics seem superficially simple, but actually it’s really about the feeling of a spiritual/religious epiphan - not just feelings of love!
This could be a U2 song w/ it's style of repetition. Still a great song as is.

However, this is a power ballad; expecting a musical grand finalé is a bit obtuse. The hard softness is what makes Hysteria unique.
