First it has batteries right? And when you go to setup mode you can see a screen right? Make sure that it’s in the “On” position and not “Setup”. Then do some tests with you walking in front of the camera. Mine worked without any issues!

Ours works in the on position. The red lights are for infrared technology in low light. If your camera doesn’t work in the on position, contact the seller first and if they can’t help you then send it back.
