I Flew 12,000 km to SURPRISE My Dad at ELLAND ROAD 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

It's a funny old game. And it could also be said that my dad is a funny old man. Having been away on travels for much of the season, I was determined to return for a decisive final game at Elland Road with Leeds United hosting Southampton.
With a Premier League promotion hanging in the balance, it looked set to be a tense occasion. But the real reason I flew 12,000 km from Indonesia to Leeds was to surprise my dad who I hadn't seen for months.
I honestly didn't know how he would react, nor how the game would play out. Whilst my team didn't get the result I was hoping for, moments like this are priceless. And as such, I don't care if this video gets demonetised for capturing the atmosphere of Elland Road on such a significant occasion.
Hopefully this also gives you a glimpse into what life is really like in the UK, and how football is central to the culture and our communities.
