So many haters! Its called song writing. You pour your heart into it and then spend time and money recording / mixing and when it fits your vision then you release it. Some will love it and others won't. Its how music works. It's not 1980 - musicians evolve. I think it sounds unique and I applaud them for that. Come on guys! It's not your song - its theirs.

Too monotone, you cannot beat the Micheal Shaker riffs in MSG, nor UFO, this isn't that bad, but it certainly displaces Mikes talent and nasty riff playing.

McCauley's Voice has held up Well throughout the Years, would love to see a brand new MSG record in 2019....Always thought Robin was the second best singer Schenker worked with next to the Great Phil Mogg...who is still #1 in my eye's... A UFO reunion record would be Great, but doubt that will ever happen again...
I would put Doogie White on the same level as McAuley, maybe even a little bit better.

I went to buy Judas Priest's "Firepower" as a new release, and didn't know about this Schenker album, stumbled upon it and bought it based on being a long-standing MSG/UFO/Scorpions fan. Threw it into the car CD player on the way home.....holy shit...long time M.Schenker fan but the soloing on "Heart and Soul" floored me.That the rest of the CD unfolded around four singers and MORE guitars was an absolute pleasure.

This song has more to do with the 'Lyrics' .Pay attention ! Yes the music is not the expected melodic style which Michael is notorious for yet the message is clear.
Crappy so called drumming! Is it programmed, as it is terrible. Is that why there are a lot of comments regarding not liking the song. The rest is ok/average, nothing to say 'Wow, that blew me away' though. Great musicians and singers, but...

Hammit sound like a pure student when he solos. MS has got this deptartment covered.
I see a lot of fellow metalheads ditching the song due to the vocal effects and I can perfectly understand that.
But honestly,I think it actually add something unique to the track. Something peculiar. I kinda dig it actually!

Like the music, can't really get into the vocals, McCauley is a much better singer than this.

Schenkers Guitar Tone sounds like 2 Angelic Lesbians, Licking, Lollipop's to my ears...But not a Fan of the Drum Machine and compressed production.
Most boring Schenker song I have ever heard. Banal lyrics, repetitive, weak production, thin seemingly programmed drum sound. Hope the rest of the album has something more worthwhile to offer us longtime fans.

Matthew Paluch that solo was pretty weird...
Schenker's tone is warm and expressive and has great phrases, kirk style is not my cup of tea..just plays generic licks and has a harsh tone,the song sounds very dated and the drums sound overly produced and compressed...like a drum machine. Would love to hear schenker paired with another expressive player like andy timmons. Would love to hear him play outside of primitive harmonic structures presented in this song here, something that would compel him to really play, perhaps minor keys and changes that actually modulate.
