Sebastian Johansen huh. It’s classified as a heavy tank but can’t stop a shell from piercing it’s armor. And it’s got a poorly designed armor angle. The 40mm is also not very powerful against it’s opponentd. But i mean if you love it maybe i’m just doing something wrong.

I love love LOVE the Matilda... just not in this game. I swear it needs to be lowered to 2.3. The "thick" armour becomes meaningless against 3.0s and the peashooter gun can't pen a lot of frontal armour/front of turrets (and it isn't fast enough to get alongside or behind them). As much as I want to love this vehicle it's just badly implemented in the game.

The idea of dedicated roles having specific tank designs (the infantry and cavalry tanks) was good on paper, until WWII hit no one really knew how fast conditions on modern battlefields could change, and thusly that tanks were better suited being designed for multiple roles to be flexible to these changing conditions. The slow and stagnant nature of warfare that was dominant in WWI really gave nations the wrong idea and left many unprepared for what more radical doctrine could do.
