It’s called frequency hopping.
My Sony Bravia TV (KD-49X7500F IA2) keeps turning off the built-in Wi-Fi. Here is the situation with my TV: In around 2021, the adapter was struck by lightning. On June 3, 2023, I bought an adapter from Sony Center Fatmawati Jakarta, and the TV turned on, connected to Wi-Fi, and upgraded itself. On June 6, 2023, the Wi-Fi button stopped working properly. When pressed, it loads but always returns to the off position. I reported the issue to Sony Center in Fatmawati Jakarta, and they followed up through Sony Center Margonda Depok. A technician from Sony Center Margonda Depok came to my house to check it, but the result was that the main board needs to be replaced. I have tried resetting and factory resetting the TV, but the built-in Wi-Fi still cannot be turned on (it always returns to the off position). I have also tried using a wired connection from my Biznet modem (internet provider) to the TV. However, the issue persists. I am still wondering if there is another solution to resolve this problem.

I finally figured it out! It’s the damn objects near it and router that’s messing with the frequency and disabling the WiFi. I moved my big tv to the other room and it worked. And put my other small tv in the other room and it stopped working. Turns out you can’t have the router too close to the tv. So I put the router further away and it started working 🤦♂️ this was a stranger thing moment. This happened a year ago. Today my big tv stopped working WiFi disabling automatically. Turned out I placed my metal necklaces and a battery pack. I removed them from the table and it worked 🤦♂️ also I brought a. Bluetooth keyboard today and I think that’s what stopped it as well. It’s called frequency hopping.

Sounds like these smart TV's are a whole lot of headaches.😮💨
Did you ever find a solution?
My TV kept disconnecting until I replace HDMI eARC cable with AudioQuest Pearl cable at Amazon…wow amazing sound and clarity…I tried all of this nothing work except the amazing cable
What's the link of earc and wifi connection? Mine also starts with audio disconnect from subwoofer
On my tv it says wi fi disabled
And does not connect at all to wifi but does connect to my mobile hotspot
How do i solve this
Factory reset your TV. If the problem still persists, contact Sony. Also these videos are not made for TV's outside the United States
Did that and after it showed Wi-Fi password not valid even though it is correct
Did you factory reset the TV? If the password works on other devices (phones, computers) reset the TV and try it.
Well done
One way is to restart your tv from power off nd on
This is a known defect with the sony bravio model. I recommend buying something else
Ridiculous, second factory reset in one week. 2k bucks for this??
Or you could just restart your tv that worked for me and I have a Hisense tv:)
My Wi-Fi is disabled
Press and hold the power button on the Sony TV remote when the TV is on. If you see a message saying cancel or restart choose restart. Or unplug TV from power, wait 5 minutes and plug back in. See if wifi is enabled, and then make sure simple IP is on.
@@FisherElectronics thank you so much for your help, I’ve tried all of this, just waiting for Sony, let’s see what they say.
I really appreciate the support, thank you so much
I will never buy Sony and all my family/friends also who bought TV after me I recommend LG
I managed to sort the problem, i gave my sony tv away and bought a different brand, problem solved
Got a sony Bravia 55"
Won't connect to its own inbuilt wifi, 1 month out of warranty..
Absolute RUBBISH, would never buy or recommend sony ever again
Go figure. You have to agree to all Google privacy options for network to function like a normal device. Great, now I can look forward to getting junk mail, emails and pop up ads for toilet paper every time i take a s%^$#. I dare someone to tell me this isnt on purpose. Basically , bend over!
