Problem on Sony Bravia NOT connecting to Internet? Here’s what to do!
After upgrading the software of our Sony Bravia 4K TV for few times as I have suspected. The TV cannot connect to the internet but still showing connection to the WI-FI router. After searching and trying to figure out the problem, I was able to figure it out.
In this video, I'm just showing you on how to re-connect your SONY BRAVIA 4K TV to your internet connection and start enjoying again watching your favourite flicks on Prime Video, Disney, You tube and other apps that needs internet connection.
Weirdly enough, the NETFLIX still can be played and watched even the rest of the apps couldn't work. There seems to be a bypass that the netflix crowd are doing that maybe a good or bad to each and every IP Address? Who knows??
Anyhow, hope I was able to help you out in bringing back your SONY BRAVIA to a better, more things of usage. Enjoy folks! :)

I had to turn the power off to the family room to install a ceiling fan. Turned it back on a couple hours later and then attempted to watch UA-cam TV a few hours after that. Same issue. Even rebooted my router, hooked up my laptop to the same ethernet cable (confirming I had data flowing), and restarted the TV. Nada. Happen to pick your video first and viola!-everything is back to normal. Thank you for your time doing the video!

But what after you turn off the TV switch again? I don't keep the switch ON because it consumes electricity.
I used to turn the switch off before and it didn't have any issues. This issue started after I changed my WiFi plan to dual band 5G network.

Omg 😳 haven’t encountered on this unit.
Same! It’s a headache. And the message it says, “WiFi can not be enabled” factory reseted everything! Unplugged the wire, clicked on the power button for 20-30 seconds. Nothing!

My X900h keeps turning off Wifi randomly and when you turn it on it goes off after 5 secs. Full Power Cycle fixes it.

what if there s a problem with the network time?
How about configuration failed ? My internet is ok but still i cant watch UA-cam and netflix

sony and android have a serious problem with wired internet connection
No problem now with Samsung so far! 👍
@@MisterandMissisK i have LG,samsung and sony...android and sony have some problems in the internet... lg samsung, no problems. lg ran out of memory, check the memory before buying a tv

Have you updated the tv system? Reset? Turn off. Do the steps again ;)
That worked I also turned the time on display so it is always working with the ethernet.

My TV has another Issue, it shows that its connected to my router and both bands, 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz and shows connected, it doesnt show no Internet but nothing works, not even Netflix However, all the other devices at my home work fine at the same time with blistering speeds but if I use my mobile hotspot from another Service provider it works. I am literally fed up of this stupid glitch now.
Try turning off the router as well, unplug.. the tv.. Disconnect the cable.. wait for 5-10mins... follow these steps again. ;)
@Wasim I have the exact same issue. Were you able to solve the issue. If yes, how did you solve it.
@@MisterandMissisK I could diagnose the issue and have managed a temporary solution. Actually its a duplicate IP issue, My Camera and TV were using same IP and Camera was overriding it. So, when i turn off the camera, the tv works, you may also have some other fevice which would be using the IP same as your TV.

Hello po. How do I connect to a wifi that needs to sign in? Like when a phone connects to the wifi, it says "Sign in to network", fill in the username and password then once done it's good to go I'm already connected to the wifi. So I'm wondering how does android TV/smart TV handles the situation. Thanks
It works the same din naman with the TV.. Just go locate your wifi menu and follow instructions. :)

A $3000. should not require this many glitches and issues we are 5 weeks with a 77 inch (11 month) sony Tv first no wifi or ethernet connection did all the BS fixes ended up calling Sony they made us spend hours doing these BS glitch fixes nothing worked so we called COSCO thankfully purchased this from COSCO with extended warranty COSCO contacted Sony they sent an independent repair guy who replaced the wifi thing that didn’t work so Sony sent a new mother board meantime three weeks waiting tv parts the tv turns iff while watching and now will not turn on at all. Every time repair guy comes we have to hire someone to remove tv from wall they will not do this. Sony has problems.

Bakit sakin ginawa ko na lahat ng troubleshooting. Kapag scan yung wifi hindi lumalabas yung name ng router. Pero wala naman ako problem sa connection ng cp, laptop at ps4.
Oh that’s a big problem if hindi ma detect ng TV mo ang router mo?

Try updating the system then turn off the TV, unplug it, wait for 2 mins then plug in and turn on TV... Do the steps.

My tv cant still detect our wifi connection 😭
Make sure you’ve updated your TV system. Turn off the TV completely, plug out from mains and wait for 5 mins at least before plugging back in then repeat the process. It happens to me as well mostly when android updates the system. 👍
