The Riccar Supralite sounds incredible and has amazing carpet lines which is very satisfying. Can’t say the same for the Eureka Smartvac which has the infamous whirlwind syndrome, I think you can use a air compressor and blow the dirt and dust out of the motor and hopefully will sound better
So with the SmartVac Motor is easily repairable they have the bearings facing the correct side to be repacked with grease I should suggest you on removing the brushroller it could be the brushroll instead of the Main Motor
That poor SmartVac got early Whirlwind syndrome. Atleast the Supralite sounds and runs better.

Supralites are nice, but I really like the cordless ones but if only, since there IS the elevate cordless.
you can just get an air hose and clean out the motor and itll be good as new
Hold up! No need for a new motor. Just Blow the motor out with some compressed air and it should sound amazing!
That superlite sounds like a oreck
