Ok...so what about the "where are they now" part?
This is my favorite Christmas movie! It never gets old!
That movie all ways makes me feel good no matter how many time's I see it
It's a it's a tradition to leave it on in my house for the full 24 hours it drives the family crazy lol
Indeed about the only thing in my Christmas I still enjoy at this point
We watch this movie every Christmas Eve I can't believe that at the start it was a "flop" it's such a great movie
I know, I can't even imagine being a flop, I just can't, just like It's A Wonderful Life; it was a flop and then became widely popular later on.
my Christmas is not complete until i watch A Christmas Story!🎅🎅
Same here!!!
Me too I all year long
Darren McGavin (The Old Man, Mr. Parker) died on 2/25/2006 at the age of 83. Melinda Dillon (The mom, Mrs. Parker) is still alive (as of 12/28/14). She also played the mom in Close Encounters of a Third Kind. Peter Billingsley (Ralphie Parker) is 43 and is still in show business. Ian Petrella (Randy Parker) is 40 and lives in Cleveland. (Source - Wikipedia)
What about the others
She was also the mom on Harry and the Hendersons
i guess it is kind of off topic but do anyone know of a good website to stream new movies online ?
@Heath Erik Flixportal :D
@Kylo Leonardo thank you, I went there and it seems to work :) I appreciate it !
I fell in love with this movie ever since I first watched it many years ago. C:
The first time I saw this film was in July, 1986. The cable movie channel I had was running a Christmas in July movie montage and this was one of the films. I was doubled up in laughter as I watched it. I think why it is a Christmas perennial is it takes in all that Christmas was to us as kids. We as a family never fail to watch it on Christmas Eve. A simply wonderful film.
The narrator was superb as well!
Love this movie!!! 👍
These newspaper editors never get anything right!
It's a tremendous success!
A Christmas Story became a CHRISTMAS CLASSIC OF ALL TIMES!!
This movie is the model of what life should really be like in a caring loving nurturing world
soooooo where are they???
My mother loved this movie! I love it!
While it was supposed to be set in a small Indiana town, it was shot in Cleveland, Ohio. A girl I used to know who grew up in Cleveland saw many of the scenes filmed and was in the crowd when they shot the shot the Christmas Parade.
I met all of these guys well not all but who I've seen the most is Ian. caseen and the cast are amazing people in person! Be sure you guys meet them! Trust me you wouldn't want to miss talking to these guys ! Ian has my big respect. I've met him more than once and he's just a mellow , funny , sweetheart and Great to be around . They all are. But Ian inspired me in many ways I act in plays , Interview people , and all of these great stuff because of Ian! He even brought a store manger a leg lamp this year because it was stolen at his store. I will never stop saying thank you to Ian. Ian if your reading this you don't know how much I'm very thankful . Ian caseen and the rest of the cast all have great positive out comes! It's coming from the heart
As a woman with savant high functioning I'm able to remember music tv and movies and able to know dates and years and that's what I tune my abilities to acting and interviewing because of them ! If it wasn't for them I wouldn't be able to meet them and do other things like a normal person would . I would've just hide my self away from the world and never go anywhere
I was born in 86 but I am in love with this movie a classic I love it
A movie can be before your time and you can still enjoy it. I was born in 78 and I still love watching the original George A. Romero Night of the Living Dead. But that's neither here nor there. I do love A Christmas Story, too.
they still do to this day for 2 whole days of A CHRISTMAS STORY!! dec 24th-dec 25th.
Thats great!!! I love this movie since the late 80s
1985 that must have been the year I discovered this movie. I just remember it showing up on cable one year and I watched it over and over. I know it represents a time at least 20 years before my childhood, yet is still feels like my childhood memories.
They should have had it take place in Cleveland where it was filmed:) The higbee building is now a horseshoe casino and their house in the movie is open for tours along with a museum and gift shop now, its pretty cool!
This segment didn't tell us. "Where are they now." Buttholes.
"Where are they now?" you ask....
Well, it's funny you mention "buttholes", because if you find out what Flick has been up to you might be surprised...
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scott_Schwartz
Or as Biff would say it "Butthead!"
I love that movie so much
Wed Dec 25th 2013 the mom says "the bears are playing the packers on Sunday" and today Sunday the 29th Dec 2013 they are. WOW.
FREAKY.
If you are ever in Cleveland allow a few hours to visit the house where much of the movie was filmed. Very worth the price of admission. Museum , interactive tour and gift.
Just ordered this on ebay.
Love this movie. A must watch.
I love that movie and my dad is obsessed
X mas wouldn’t be w/o this movie N its a wonderful life- every year its a must for me -MERRY X MAS TO ALL - yes even U ppl on The Left
So the question remains "Where are they now?"
The best Christmas movie
I love that movie
This does not say where these casts are at all.. Only what's about the movie and other stuff.

Trivia: Schwartz was killed in the war (Ref: Jean Shepherd live at FDU).
My daughter watches it 24 hours on the tv
this movie beats all other Christmas movies.

A shame about Darren McGavin, who was not only the Old Man, but he was also Kolchak the Night Stalker and Brian Madison, Billy's father from Billy Madison.
just met Ian the guy who played randy at the HERSHEY COMIC-CON 2014. what a cool guy. He is now on the road touring around. just check my channel or look up HERSHEY COMIC-COM 2014 book signing and your will find it.

Meatloaf, smeatloaf, double beetloaf, I hate meatloaf!
No Mayo. For me.
Ok so now do one now in 2022
I ALSO LOVE THIS MOVIE IT RULED
People, the whole show is like an hour long. It's a 3-minute clip. Chill.
My summer story?
Try POST World War 2 Indiana...
uh, no...PRE war, circa 1939
LOL!!! I stand CORRECTED! However..."There is a debate about when the film takes place. Evidence seems to point to 1939 because of The Wizard of Oz (1939) references. The decoder ring points to 1940. However, if you look at the calendar on the wall (during the first dinner sequence), you can clearly see the first of December falls on a Friday. December 1st fell on a Friday in 1939, not 1940 as was previously accepted. But Bing Crosby's Version of Santa Claus Is Coming To Town wasn't released until 1943."
Good Video. Bad Title. ‘Where are they now?’ I guess we will never know.
To this day my mother will call and remind me this is on @ xmas (we're jewish btw)
Why don’t you watch a Video before you upload and add the wrong title? 🙄👎🏻
Very miss leading title.
its kinda disappointing that esther jane really wasn't in the movie. I'm in a play and I play that role, and she is the main female part!
stupid
theothertroll thank you so much!!!
Well, la dee dah!
Yeah, an ad disguised with phony balogna.
FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL F A I L!!!! Nowhere in this 3:21 waste of my life was there ANYTHING about where they are now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:333
Pre-World war 2? No way. Has to be 1945-1949. The great depression ended in like 1939ish and no one is gonna put a leg lamp on their window sill in the great depression...
The video title is totally misleading.
Actually mistitled...
POST WW11, actually.
Click bait bullshit. Change title.
Junk
Yeah Caseen, this is only about how A Christmas Story has become a cult hit. What about Dillon, Billingsley, and the actors?? What a scam.
Before A Christmas Story, Melinda Dillon was in Slap Shot.
That's the movie that is based on the Johnstown hockey team right?
flopped
