Hilarious and anarchic offering from self-styled Marxist comedian, Alexi Sayle.
The single peaked at number 15 in the UK charts in 1984. Totally bonkers lyrics - his TV performance of the song was epic, and equally bonkers!
The song was recorded in 4 parts - part 1 was the original A side as played on the radio, with the lesser known part 2 on the B side. Both parts are spliced together here.
Part 3 was essentially the 12” and I may upload in future once I have time to sort out the lyrics! Part 4 was the ‘sweary’ part, which I won’t be uploading, but which can be found elsewhere online.
