A friend of mine had a wooden carving his dad made. It hung on his wall for years before I noticed it was a Möbius strip but it had 4 sides the the section and the sculpture was also square like a picture frame, so it was twisted 1/3 turn along each side. Also it was carved from walnut and polished so it was beautiful.

Yours was double twisted his was only single twisted. That’s what is suppose to happen.

What happened to the first guy is exactly how it's supposed to go. Cut down the center line of a mobius strip and you get one loop with a full twist

@@Fyafli it’s hard to explain 😂 imagine a square wooden frame made from 2”x2” wood, but with each side of the frame twisted 1/3 of a turn.
