Isn’t there a failsafe mechanism in the loco? Some kind of foot pedal if not pressed every few secs which will engage emergency brakes?
Yes electric locos me hota hai vcd kehte hai vigilance control device usse har 60 sec me press karna hota hai leg se na kare toh ek baar alarm bajta h and emergency brake lag jate h
Engines are not foot-operated. Also in this case locos were in idle mode. The train moved due to the slope and not due to the engine pulling them.
