      Cheers mate and yea, older stuff like this are technically more simple but can be harder to make them run right. Newer stuff generally has stupid electrical faults, but usually either work or don’t. Stuff like this will usually work but not work well when there’s an issue 😂

    Great content as always. Nice to see some maintenance on a bigger bike (that I can relate to with mine, compared to the hairdryers 😀). I had a Stage 1 DynoJet kit fitted to my 900, plus the carb ultrasonic clean. Fixed the misfire, but introduced a slight hesitation pulling away in 1st! There's always something! 🙄 More like this please. 😎👍

      Can you tell if it’s boffing (lean) or bogging (rich) hesitation? And thanks, I work on bikes at work and often do jobs like this, but I don’t like to film work we’re charging a customer for cos it takes far too long. I only filmed this cos I booked a day off work and did it for a mate. I often have to take the carbs further apart then this, but these didn’t need the tops off and I just did what was needed. We only do and charge for what’s needed at our place at our place anyway. Bikes and Beyond in Shaw if you wanna check it out on the Googles.

    • @somerandomname9252
      @somerandomname9252 8 місяців тому

      Good questions, probably lean? You'd expect the bike shop would have addressed that, after fitting the new DynoJet parts, instead of just giving it back "sort of working". Bike is in bits at the moment as I'm rebuilding it into a Street Fighter (hopefully ready for next summer). But there's a mountain of parts I want to strip off and replace for new. Need a custom (seat) subframe welding, Have the square steel tube ready. But alot of bike shops seem hesitant to take on the project (that I've approached)..... Would be great to stop by your shop to say hello, but am around the London area. So would be a decent trek.

    • @StupidBlokeStupidVideos
      @StupidBlokeStupidVideos  8 місяців тому

      @@somerandomname9252 yea that is a decent trek! Tbh I can understand their hesitation. Jobs like that take so much time. Modified bikes in particular are usually a pain in the arse for a bike shop. They end up taking you away from so much normal jobs that unless you’re on a quiet spell, you can’t fairly charge enough to make them viable. What air filters are on it? I’ve not had much to do with Dynojet kits except ones that are already fitted. Some of them require pod filters and some require modifications to the standard air box. If the air box has been left alone then this could be the issue and it will likely be running rich. Have you checked the colour of the plugs?

    • @StupidBlokeStupidVideos
      @StupidBlokeStupidVideos  8 місяців тому

      @@somerandomname9252 also it could be something as simple as the float height being set wrong as these were. It’s not the first time I’ve seen carbs that have had the same mistake made where the float has been set with the carbs in the wrong orientation. This bike was bogging and stuttering until it cleared itself at higher rpm cos the floats were way too high which caused it to run way rich

    • @somerandomname9252
      @somerandomname9252 7 місяців тому

      Well the bike didn't have this low rev (pulling away) hesitation before it went in the the DynoJet kit. But did have a misfire on one cylinder. The misfire got fixed after getting bike back, but then it had this new problem! 😩

      They’re just so small that they easily block up, usually when the bike has been laid up for a while, especially with the ethanol content of modern fuel

      @@Gennadui777 это просто называется ремонтный комплект карбюратора. вам нужно купить 4 штуки, по одному на каждый карбюратор. ebay должен их продать. Игольчатый клапан - самая важная деталь, которую следует заменить, поскольку она выходит из строя и вызывает утечку. остальные детали обычно можно отремонтировать, просто очистив их.

    Guys i need help.
    I habe an kawasaki zx600d 1990.
    I cleaned the carbuerator and the bine only goes on with choke and goes wild to 6.000rpm.
    I close a little bit choke rpm goes dowm to 4.000-3.000 and then i close a little bit more it turns off.
    Bike doesn’t turns on without choke.
    What should i do

      @@StupidBlokeStupidVideosyeah i cleaned everything.
      After cleaning i put the pilot screw completely in and turns it 2 rotations out. Maybe should i play with the Calibration or get the engine warm at cold start at 6.000-3.000rpm, because if i close the choke the engine turns out like how you show it in yours video
