Thanks for watching. Indeed they do need assistance. A BC Coast PIlot boards the ship at a predefined location. The pilot then assists the ships master in bringing the ship into the harbour. Lastly the pilot directs the tugs and the ship. Its like conducting an orchestra. Super fun to watch and boy do I wish I had the job of driving those tugs.
Awesome, Alex!
Thank you Don
Spectacular flight, Like and Subscribed, Greetings from Mexico my friend.
Hello there and thanks a ton for subscribing. Also greetings from Canada and thanks for checking out my content.
Great content Alex! 👌🏽
Outstanding once again, back in the day the Tugs TP1 and TP2 provided ship handling service up in Rupert But that was Long ago.
Thanks for watching. I went for a ride on one of the TP tugs when I was little. Fun fact, the bow tug SST Orleans was once called TP3
@@NorthcoastDrone We remember the arrival of the "TP3" it was a Big deal
I know cars have parking assist but this is Mega. Do they require a pilot onboard the ship with the tugs docking it? Another great clear video. Thanks
