    I never knew there were containers inside the ship. Thought they were all stacked ontop.

    If its possible and safe to drive a car via computor (AL) then surly its possible to crew a ship.. a ship travels at a lower speed and so in theory there should be more time for the computer .. Cost could be vastly reduced at the expensive of ship mates,, I can see a time when ships are crewed by as many people as say crew an airliner...
