- NASA has changed the way humankind lives on the Earth, and on the ISS, with the futuristic technology they have developed. And they will soon be shaping how humans live on the Moon and Mars.
This mini overview documentary looks into NASA's history of tech and rockets, and also explores their future technology - going as far into the future as the year 2100. Showcasing NASA's future missions and projects, from the Artemis Moon Missions and Lunar Space Station, to the future Mars Colony.
Additional footage sourced from: NASA, SpaceX, European Space Agency, NASA/University of Arizona.

@SaintLaurentBeatz I'm about to turn 18 soon so I hope what you say turns out to be true. Certainly don't want to die in this current century. Will be missing out a lot if I do.
@@harshsharma03 Doing the math during each of these dates is always entertaining. The current life expectancy in the US is about 78 years. This would mean we would expect to live only to the 2080s should technology stagnate - something which is shows no sign of doing.
With our combination of better understand the aging process and improved gene editing, I would expect the first "immortal" humans to already be alive.
@SaintLaurentBeatz There is no such thing as immortality under our current understanding of the universe. That is, in a finite universe in which entropy is eternally increasing, we will eventually die. Now that would happen many countless years from now at the end of the universe, so it might as well be immortality.
SaintLaurentBeatz no even then thats the closest to immortality as you can get. One day the last star will burn out, and the last black hole will evaporate. This will happen so many countless eons from now that it might as well be immortality, but in the end that too will fade

doesn't really matter too much, AI is already making progress for us, and will be the primary driver of innovation from here on out, we can't really guess what they'll come up with, they do years of research in minutes, brute forcing simulations until one works.. look up AIs recent discoveries/inventions and this is just the first wave.. besides, who knows what the government has invented in secret and will probably never tell us about it.. for example, you think it's aliens piloting those UFOs?

Yes that's true. We are already looking back at the beginnings of the Internet, e.g.. I think you can compare the way people see us in 100 years from how we look back on the people who colonized America.
I truly hope to live long enough to see this come about.
Great video, as always and I love the optimism. What's confusing is how do you dock at Mars and slingshot around the planet at the same time as mentioned for Inter Astra @ 20:55. Unless you forgot to mention something significant.
Reality: “Alright, it’s 2060... we should start thinking about that Mars program. Where’s Elon? What do you mean you can’t find him?”
We'll see if that's true by 2024 if they're going to ship the cargo starship to Mars, but many people still thinking 2026 is way too early, we speculate 2040.
Same as the people in 20th century saying we would have flying cars 😂.
@@dechubasco830 Well they also said we'll have 8M storage super computer that can fit in a room... But we completely exceed their expectation on this one...
@@Kylesaystuff Yes and it took almost 400 years for calculator to turn into a computer.
@@dechubasco830 Well yeah, because there's a lot of development that goes between doing math by hand and having a tool that does it all for you.
This video gave me a whole new perspective about space! So excited for humans to go back to the Moon and go to Mars for the first time!
Realy I like this video its so interestyng
This is incredible. I'm so excited for the future. I want to be a part of it all!
