    Vincent Price has always been one of my favorites, and I had the opportunity at college to hear him speak. Walter Pidgeon I always picture as Dr. Morbius from Forbidden Planet, and also from the movie version of Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.

    • @MWood-ry8uu
      @MWood-ry8uu 4 роки тому +2

      I think he did that because his appearance was so random that he might not have been guessed if his voice was completely disguised. He had absolutely nothing to plug, not even a book, and he lived on the west coast. If the panel didn't guess his name it would have been rather embarrassing to him (and the panel too for that matter).

    • @MWood-ry8uu

    • @divinewon73

      His voice is recognizable, but he was speaking French and the panel was used to the guest disguising his/her voice so they probably thought his voice was affected rather than his own.
      Clever psychology from Vincent Price to fool them. He did well through most of it until they caught him finally. Brilliant actor and so much more.
