Its not that confusing. If you give them the room to be honest with you they'll probably tell you what you want to know. The main thing is to not be judgemental about it....ask lots of questions....not " so what youre saying is" questions because that means you misinterpreted what was said and we dont like misunderstandings. In most cases unless its just rrally hard talking to you what was said is what was meant hiw they meant it and not how the person recieving it would mean it if they said it.
