This is the only gym that I've joined and the most committed I've ever been. I love orangetheory. I've been a member since 2021 and I average 5 days a week.
I get stinging on the tops of my knees if I run too long. This sounds great that they have that flex deck.

I love OTF i lost so much weight after having my baby I had a class tonight
I want to preface this by saying - I’m in great muscular shape and used to be a multi sport athlete, but haven’t really been in cardiovascular shape in years.
I signed up earlier this week and I did 3 classes (one per day for 3 days) and it kicked my ass. I’m so sore.
These types of programs work if you grind and actually push yourself through the workout. If you’re there and just do the bare minimum to go through the motions…. You’re going to get bored after a few classes. You really need to grind and make sure you’re dead tired after each block.
The heart rate monitors are an absolute rip off. They sell them at my studio for like $120, but you can buy them used on FB or eBay for like 20-40$. Absolutely do not buy them new lol. Also, your Apple Watch can tell you the zones on its own, but doesn’t display it on the screens there.

Almost half of it is Running! But there treadmill is better for knee tho!
I lost 4 stone in over a year Nov 22- Nov 23 by going to OT at 6am, 3 times a week.

I am currently a night shift worker. Should I plan to do my exercises before going to bed in the morning or when I wake up in the evening?
That's a hard question! I think its best to chose which ever you can committed to. If you are a type of a person you skip gym session because you are tired from work then wake up. If you are snooze person then you should committed going before going to the bed! I think committing to the schedule is most important!
