He wasn’t undercover asset protection?
Nah girl. That man was a regular customer. People be saying he’s LP but ain’t no LP I’ve ever known follow you out to your car and take pics. I stood at that entrance for a good minute trying to get reception. If it was LP that would’ve been the perfect moment to stop me and I would’ve told them to do their job with their loss prevention ass and watch my stuff while I make this call. Instead, an employee tells me to go outside....I mean...idk some people think I made the wrong decision and that somehow makes it ok for a man to follow me to my car and take photos of me but all I have to say is...I paid for my things... lol
They legit catch you before you do anything ( like leave the store) they will speak with security and you will be stopped and searched before you leave. and he would have spoken with the girl who ran you up also to double check on his suspicions. I also worked at Target even though it was for a summer I learned many things about how Target worked.

He would have apprehended her at the door and would not be showing a cashier of all people pictures. He also would have known about the policy, if he was really paying attention be would have seen Nikki talking to the cashier and would have asked the cashier about it. Why the fuck would security be coming to a cashier to show pictures?
LP would not go to a cashier to show them pictures and they would NOT follow you to your car to take pictures! They will usually build a case against you depending on how much you steal at one time. Sometimes letting you come in and steal a handful of times before stoping you and charging you! Regardless they do not chase you down outside of the store they will always stop you before u get outside of the store once they feel they have enough evidence against you!
Yup I use to work at target. And that fool was not LP. Dudes at my store would have done something before you walked out... But they work creeps though how they would watch people. 😬🤣

My boyfriends sister accused me of stealing once 🙄🙄 we were all travelling down to a wedding and we were splitting the price evenly for the suite. So I give my cash to her boyfriend because I had the cash on me and a week later shes calling me and harassing me about giving him the money, saying i was stealing from her and that I'm not welcome in her family. Girlll, I got hold of the CCTV outside of my boyfriends aunts house (where I gave his sisters boyfriend the money) and it showed me handing it to him and him putting it in his pocket. Comes out months later that he used it to buy coke 🙄😂 What an absolute mess

even if he was undercover what reason would he have had to follow her around the entire store the whole time she was shopping? nothing would’ve been even remotely suspicious up until she left to put stuff in her car but since he was apparently so attentive he would know she gave her ID and credit card to the employee so even if she stole they know exactly who did it... i mean come on he was either a creeper or just doin too much

Aisha the cashier would’ve known he was asset protection or security. You as a worker would have to know who they are in case you need to call them yourself. At least hen I worked jobs like this we always met the guards and other security

This sounds familiar to stories I hear about people who think they are being tagged. As in human trafficking!!!!!!
EXACTLY. This is totally human trafficking behavior. This was just his excuse to follow her around and send photos of her to whoever. He could even sell her photos on dark web with general location for folk that are looking to abduct. There's whole "lesson" groups that get together to teach each other how to abduct and have whole books of potentials, with age, size, behavior, etc..ladies be aware...this dude should of been reported. There needs to be a record of him doing this, that way at least he's in the system. Without him being in the system, if someone goes missing in the area, they wouldn't know to think of him.

I was a manager at target for the front lanes. Thats the undercover security guard. When they are following someone the turn their hat backwards.... they dont really interact with the employees because they need to stay low key.
My husband was an asset protector at Walmart. Idk about target but at Walmart they were regular clothes and “spy” on people. They won’t stop them until they are about to walk out the store.

I went to Kroger one night with my baby to get a few things like milk and formula and bread because I was broke and couldn’t afford hardly anything at that point....my freaking card declined because I was short like $2 or something idk. I was in self checkout, my boyfriend and I lived literally right down the road from this Kroger so I called him so embarrassed because our baby needed formula and I had already started checking out and a line of people were forming to use the self checkout area and they were getting annoyed with me. I had to wait for him to ride his bike to the Kroger maybe 5 minutes or so of a ride, so he could help me pay for it and I didn’t have to find someone to cancel it and have to come back. The kicker here, is I literally had like 4 things, all essentials and clearly for someone who is broke and barely making it by, and there was a Kroger employee that stands by the self checkout area to make sure if there are issues they can type in the codes or help out or just to supervise nobody steals shit, he was right next to my self checkout so he heard my conversation of saying come help me pay I don’t have enough etc. and the rest of the time I was waiting for him, I literally just stood there by my basket keeping my baby entertained I didn’t touch anything else. Fast forward, he gets there not too long after I called him, I’m already dying of embarrassment and he helps me pay for it we bag our 4 fucking items and we walk out with the cart and our 1 bag because it is easier not to have to carry a baby around with groceries. I got about 3 feet out the front door before I had a Kroger manager AND that guy who was standing by the self checkout chase after me out the front door damn near out of breath, come up and ask me “ma’am do you mind if I take a look at your receipt?” I am mortified at this point because I didn’t have much to begin with and now they were making a scene as if I stole something in my 1 fucking bag when the dude SAW what actually happened. I showed him my receipt he checked my 4 items and said ok thank you ma’am and walked away......y’all when I say I bawled when I got home.....I lost my shit I was so embarrassed and angry and sad that I felt like all I was trying to do was provide for my baby and was chased down like I was a thief.....over 1 bag......to this day I still hurt in my soul thinking about it 😔 I’m glad you got your stuff and said something to that guy because that is offensive to accuse someone like that, you never know what the fuck they’re struggling to get through and he just wanted to act like a dick! Love you girl!

That happened to my bestie she was shopping at target with her new born and the lost prevention guy made her empty her diaper bag and made a scene she was so embarrassed and called me crying saying she felt targeted because she was young and had a baby of color. It was so sad
Yeah even if he was lost prevention, doesn't mean following a woman out to her car and taking pictures of her is okay. Not to mention, why would he go to the cashier if HE'S security? Why would he take pictures if he should know Target has security cameras?

I worked at Wells Fargo for a couple of years. If you are going to be making a big purchase or purchases call them before hand and let them know so they won’t block your card and think it’s fraud :)

He’s probably works for loss prevention. It is not through target they are hired through another company from target so They have a right to stop and puts cuffs on you if they think you’re stealing. I used to work in a grocery store and none of the employees knew they worked for us. They don’t want the employees to know they have undercover people working for them. But it was wrong with the way he went about it.

At my store there's undercover people that do that, but we know they work there with us and it's not through a separate company or anything. They even have walkie talkies

I've been dealing with a lot in my life & been thru a lot of shit. I'm 27 with 4 kids but only 1 lives with me (my youngest) & I've been fighting for my oldest 3 for awhile now(4yrs sober come October). When I was in high school my cousins and I decided to walk to a Teriyaki place near my house. We ordered to go, went it, added some siracha sauce to our food, paid and left! TELL ME WHYYYYY we have been walking for like 10min and see this car speeding and stop right next to us. A man walks out and it was the owner of the Teriyaki place!!! My cousin had his backpack on (because we were coming from school DUUH), and the man asks to look inside his backpack because he thinks we stole a Siracha bottle!!! We were KIDS. We refused and he got so angry with us, and out of fear we showed him our backpack (which had nothing but books and papers) and he looked confused and left. He didnt apologize to anything.
Till this day I get sooo heated from being too scared to talk back and put this man in his place. Ugh.

Where I live they have floor walkers in stores to watch out for people who steal. They are annoying af I could be looking a lil bummy with my messy bun and sweats WITH MY KIDS buying regular groceries and they would follow me around peeking through things just to see what I’m doing. I always have something to say to them especially after I pay for all my kids food. Like they really think a single women would do that with their kids steal a cart full of shit... wow. They have no shame either. Pathetic. I think it’s just the colour of my skin honestly. It’s sad.

I was with a lil 14 year old at walmart whose family was living with me n my dad. She had apparently been shoving stuff in her purse and I didnt realize it cause she kept walking off from me and I honestly wasn't paying a whole lot of attention, we get stopped cause they had seen her do it, we're in the office getting the report taken and the old ass lady worker who saw her do it decides i talked her into it cause in her mind theres no way a 14 year old came up with idea to shoplift on her own even though her mom was jumping her ass for doing it a month before. This lady proceeds to tell everyone I'm up there shoplifting all the time and the employees then follow me around the next 6-8 months whispering that I'm stealing. They eventually stopped when they realized i wasnt actually stealing. T

a few years ago me my husband and his friend were at target they were looking at the yugiyo cards (however you spell it 🤣) and i swear this security guard was following us all up and down the isle i didnt pay mind or think anything of it until we paid and exiting the store dude was right behind us 🙄 I give him a dirty look and leave come to find out my husband and his friend were looking at the cards picking them up (and the tins) i guess he thought they took some.... but followed us over cards 🙄🙄 FREAKING CARDS 🤣

Hey girl I absolutely loved this video. Its so dumb important to remind women to be aware of their surroundings. On more than one occasion I've had guys follow me around supermarkets/stores and its so important to be aware of it and if you're alone to get on the phone and describe this person to a friend or family member because you never know what could happen.

A few years back before I had my kid. some odd dude fallowed me and my friend. Into a wal mart you know the ones that. Are open 24 hours. Coming back from the club lol. I found my friend I told her she noticed it too! She pulled out her phone recorded him. Than called 911 put the operator on speaker. I never seen a man move so fast out of Walmart. Walking like he was about to pee on himself. We showed the manager and cops the video footage and they looked at the cameras in the store also. I dont know what came out of that. Not sure if they ever caught the guy or not.
