Thank you! So 80 percent of the time I draft a basic bodice for each customer. But sometimes I grade a particular one up or down if it’s in the same measurement range.

@@elemoolutola9868 I learnt that over time. You know the extra allowances that are added on the hip and also on the bust when drafting the pattern ? So instead of shaping those extra allowances out I just use it as the seam allowance. Although those allowance are not always even but you can just add the difference while cutting or manipulating your pattern. I hope this helps.Also check the video on the Natalie bray test fit. You might get it better.I hope this helps
In my opinion. The cut around the under bust works great for a maternity style. But I wouldn’t use a basque waist line like this.. but if you must , the drafting details is about the same.
The snatching you made on the front waist line but didn't do same on the back block, would the front block not be shorter in width than the back block?
According to you ,we don’t need to do chest shaping whenever we want to attach yoke to bustier right? How about if we want to add yoke to corset,aren’t we going to do chest shaping?
How about in the case of corset that has yoke and sleeve,how do one go about it? Because I am confused how one would go about it to get the cup shape when the chest isn’t shaped. I hope u understand what I mean?
Hi. Local fabric shop or online. I buy my fusible fleece interfacing(also called wadding)on Amazon or my local Hobby Lobby store. Not sure where you are located but wherever you buy interfacing, you should be able to get it there

Thank you! This method works better for bustiers with a yoke and sleeves. But if you’re making a strapless bustier, it can be shaped more.

When you moved the dart allowance to the side and reshaped, does that mean you’ve taken out the skirt dart?

Yes.. when sleeves are going be attached( in order to avoid tightness around the chest). But when no sleeves attached. Shape as preferred.

I guess you can shape as preferred. Just be mindful about the outcome.
