I'm so excited for this new Tutorial - The One Shoulder Blazer or half bustier, half blazer top!
Here's the Basic bodice block I used ..

In this tutorial , I will walk you through the whole process, from the making the pattern to fabric cutting and sewing tutorial all on one part!
This top has been one of my most popular pins on Pinterest, and I'm thrilled to finally bring it to life in a full tutorial for you all.
Here are the materials I used in the tutorial
Fabric - 2 ply stretch crepe
Lining _ Satin
1/4 " Polyester boning
Breast pads
Fusible weft interfacing
While I wanted to bring this design to life for you all, I decided to only create the top portion of the jumpsuit for this tutorial. However, if you're interested in learning how to make the full jumpsuit, just let me know in the comments and I'd be more than happy to create a tutorial for you all.

Quick one, can this work for a very busy person?
Do you mean a busty person? If so then you. Just measure the neck depth to you desired length for more coverage
@Mercy Adams I mean I'm very busty and I don't know if that part will carry my bust
I'm just curious if the sleeveless can carry my bust
Yes. It will. Definitely use a bigger breast pad and more layers of interfacing to making the bodice more sturdy/firm .Also a wider boning( about 1/2 “ width)

Please ma when cutting on the fabric do we place the pattern on the right side of the fabric and cut out or the wrong side ?
You’re welcome!
The side you cut on is based on where you want to position the one shoulder detail. Easy way to determine this is place the fabric on you( right side of the fabric, as you would an actual garment) that way you’re able to figure out how to place the pattern. I hope this helps ♥️

Is it possible ma???
It is.. but the neckline around the bustier side towards the arm hole will be drawn different. Or you can make an off shoulder sleeve and the attach under the under arm.
What would you suggest if I don't want a zip allowance in the back and I just wanted to button like a regular jacket in the front? Also, I want to extend the front piece down to about hip level on the jacket side. I wouldn't do much different other than bring out my button stand right?

Here is the calculations I use to get my crotch extension (thigh) when making a jumpsuit
Hip measurement divided by 14”, 16” or 18” . 14” being the loosest around the hip. So if you want the thigh to fit a little tighter you can use 18” or 16” for a medium fit. But make sure to confirm with your actual thigh measurement to match up.

Hi. What part are you referring to as a tuck? So I can better explain your question . Also let me know the time stamp on the part you’re referring. It helps to know exactly what you mean

Do you mean the tuck(dart) that was moved from shoulder to the waistline ? If yes ,it doesn’t . that is the right size of dart for a proper bust countour( based on the type of basic pattern I used in making this tutorial)
However other basic bodice block dart size might differ to the kind I used.
