Wow, this is the most, not one of the most, comprehensive tour introduction about MP. Thanks for sharing so much useful information about the area. It s really helpful. Thanks again
Best holiday places,so much to do an beautiful beaches, may family have been come to the beautify places from Melbourne for 42 years and we love it❤❤😂😂
I enjoyed that video. It brought back memories. My father was serving in the Australian Army in the late 1940's and was based at Balcombe Camp. We lived at the time in Mount Martha. When he left the Army we moved into Red Hill South and grew starwberries. Apples were also grown in the area at that time. My sister and I were educated primarily at the Red Hill Consolidated School and the Rosebud High Shcool until we moved into Melbourne City. Thanks for posting.
I stumbled on this video just checking what to do around Mornington Peninsula and boy, I wasn't expecting this treasure trove of information! Really great content! You're awesome! Excited to drive around the summertime. :)
Thank you so much Karen. That makes me so happy to hear. I really appreciate your support and kind words. For more travel information, check out my full guide here bit.ly/MorningtonPeninsulaGuide
Thank you Michele for such an informative and extremely entertaining tour around this stunning and fun part of your world. You have made it look so tempting for me to want to drop everything and go and indulge in what this beautiful Peninsula has to offer. This is one of the best videos I have ever seen.
What a great video, even as an Aussie there's a LOAD I didn't know about the Mornington Peninsula. I knew Harold Holt disappeared at a beach, I didn't know it was on the MP! Thanks Michele for the insightful video, as always!
@@theintrepidguide you worked for the whittakers? Wow...I used to run the broadway bazaar shop right opposite the cinema lol. I now live on the gold coast but visit rosebud regularly (except this year) I'm creating a video game based on the peninsulla and have just mapped out the 3d terrain and landscape. I watched your video to remind me of the scenery and add inspiration. Thanks again for a well edited video
@@evilswingythingy No way! What a small world. haha this blows my mind :) I remember that shop! That's so cool that you're working on a video game. I'd love to see it when you're done :) Best of luck with it :)
Thanks Michelle. I’m heading out to Australia from the in January 2024 for a month and your video really inspired me. I haven’t been to the Mornington Penninsula since I was a child although I have fond memories of going there from Mentone during the summer holidays. You didn’t mention the Aquarium at Sorrento so I guess it is no longer there. Thanks again for a great video.
Excellent video, am planning a Victoria trip and do want to see this area, you've highlighted plenty of great places, so thanks 🙂. I've unfortunately heard Gunnamatta Beach had an incredibly bad sewage outfall problem in the 2000s with surfers getting infections, I really hope the wastewater management have improved their sewage treatment there!
It looks so beautiful there😍 I will definitely go there one day! Also I loved the video thank u for all the information and it was fun to watch❤️ And u should have ur own television travelling program it was so good😂😍
Great video, thank you for sharing. Just a heads up, the Aboriginal language from the Sydney area is pronounced "dar-rug". You have such a polished style and I'm loving all of the itinerary ideas, thanks! ❤❤❤

Please would you describe how you would get there by train from Melbourne Southern Cross ?
You need to get a train to Frankston, beyond that you need a car for most of it. There are buses but that take an hour to get to Mornington from Frankston, or 15 min by car
is it fine to go in winter?
You can go anytime :) It just depends on what things you want to do. There are fewer visitors and accommodation is much cheaper.
i live here
Then you're very lucky :) Which town?
somerville
What about franga the gateway to the peninsula 🤣🤣
haha Love Franga ;)
👍
Lock your car and try not to get robbed. Mornington next to Frankston
Did you miss the Peninsula Hot Springs?
