Rolling Solo Hey love your page! Just got hooked yesterday after watching the series on fallout! If you like pen and paper type games you should do a series on Four Against Darkness. Either way looking forward to more of your episodes!
Terrific unboxing video. How about a follow-up called "Mage Knight: Ultimate Edition | Reboxing" so we can see how all the components fit back into their segmented compartments?
@@RollingSolo I was going to ask for the very same thing! Pictures on the rolling solo guild, or very short video for reboxing? Very few games get a re-boxing, but I often want to see them. :-9 It looks like the cities now have details they didn't have in their plastic sculpts before (not just better paints)... Get the Ultimate instead! The issues with the older version and separate expansions was different colours and sizes of components. I’d avoid that $75 purchase and grab the Ultimate.
Still waiting for my preorder from my LFGS receiving stock. Often takes a few weeks longer for stock to arrive in Australia. Really looking forward to it turning up. Was going to buy Mage Knight a year ago, decided to hold out for ultimate edition.
Here's a question, I was unboxing my own copy and notice I was missing one piece. At 11:49 there's a round white pice with a small hole in the middle. That is completely missing from my sheet. All the other pieces looks the same. Is this something that's been removed in future printings for some reason? Mayne I'll find out once I start playing, no clue what it does

I didn't even know this Ultimate Edition was going to be a thing and it's renewed my interest in getting my own copy. Hello! I don’t believe they look as though they’d hold sleeves cards. I haven’t tried yet myself but intend to. When I get a chance to relook I’ll know more! :)
@@RollingSolo Yeah, I heard it from your lovely video. Literally, this is my first solo game as well which I just ordered it couple hours ago. So excited to wait for the shipment and that's why I'm searching for some video about the game on UA-cam!
Interesting, that's what got me looking too! I joined the KS for Tainted Grail, as it looks great, but thought 'hmm, i want to try something else before August next year, lets find out what other games are good for solo play' I think I'll order this :)
Great, I'm looking forward to it. I ordered it earlier today. Good to know that I haven't wasted my money! hehe. just a shame i decided to take the plunge today instead of a week ago. The christmas holiday will mean i have to wait a little longer to recieve it. Oh well :D
This is a game that I've been on the fence about for years. The biggest thing that kept me from buying it is the theme. Most of my collection seems to be fantasy themed and I'm burned out on it. Really wish we could get more solo games with a different theme but I understand why people make fantasy over and over. It is popular and I seem to be one of the few people that is tired of it. Despite that, it is very tempting to pick this up.
I heard Star Trek Frontiers is essentially Mage Knight, but then Sci-fi themed. I didn't do too much research on it myself, but maybe something worth looking into if the Mage Knight theme doesn't appeal to you
Oooo tough question. I would have been able to if I didn’t sell my prior copy. Maybe someone that has both can compare? This is a great question for the BGG forums. I’m sure someone can answer that. Let me know when you do!
Box of Delights in terms of learning the game. I also have a play of Mage Knight on the channel from Solo Playthroughs. It has a blue background so easy to find!
@@RollingSolo Thanks! Just ordered the game and can’t wait to watch a good playthrough to learn the rules. Found Greg’s Video, but it seems you should already know the rules for it. Will watch it afterwards!
This game just made it on my "must have" list of games. Great unboxing video. Also for pre painted miniatures that's pretty good quality. Mechs vs. Minions I think has the best pre painted miniatures(mechs). Not including miniatures games like Star Wars X-Wing, etc.
Thanks Koier! MvsM is on a whole other level compared to this. I agree those are professionally done. These are meant to be more playable out of the box than professional.
Hey EW, you can lift the whole tray out if you wish. I was able to without any issue. Only issue with mine is the top clear piece which sits over the tray to keep everything in place had a hole in one corner. Something I may follow up with them on if it causes a problem for me storage wise. Cheers!
Awesome I already have all the expansions but this has inspired me to repaint the figures. Too bad they didn’t make a new Breavelar figure. I had to craft my own...
Hey SN! Congrats on picking up this one. There should be rules and setup videos online that can help. I haven’t gotten this version on camera yet. Hope you have fun. It’s a heavy game but it’s brilliantly designed.
I haven’t! I was thinking about doing it but it’s quite the undertaking and I’ve got a bunch of other games I spend time with atm. I’d like to revisit this in the future though. It was the first solo game I ever bought!
@@RollingSolo you got me sold on this game, my guy. I'm gonna buy the broken token organizer off amazon, as well as some card sleeves. Are there any other items that could improve my experience? You got a new sub by the way
That’s a good plan! Welcome to the community here. I personally like using acrylic crystal gems I found on Amazon. They’re brighter and imo nicer then the ones that come in the box. Just have to make sure you cover all the colours!
Yup! Picked it up from my FLGS yesterday. Also on Amazon too! That is odd that the new cards aren't shown in the picture on Amazon. Just noticed that. Likely a slip on their part? Wizkids site says they're part of the components list so you'll get them. They're packaged within one of the four bricks of cards. Cheers! wizkids.com/mage-knight-ultimate-edition/
Can you please provide some alternate mana gems options ? I also hate them ( in both regular and ue editions) . Links would be great. Thanks. PS my ue has cards with a lower contrast than the other versions
Fast research told me, 5 card will be available for us old owners. So don´t need to do a rant about em! Own core and all expansion, even had to put up with replacement for bad quality on shades of tezla. But i really don´t like size of that new box and insert, just seems huge. But might be because i have broken token insert which makes everything fit into old box with a tiny of room leftover still. You doing this unboxing, ricky's new playthrough and me holding game box in hand yesterday because movement stuff around (To make space for more board games :p ), is making me wanna play it again. This is one 2 game i always want more playthroughs off, so looking forward to you hopefully doing one. (Other game being Assailt on Doomrock, which hopefully gets new expansion now steamfall is done!)
Sure will! Mentioned that in the pinned comment as well for previous owners of the game. I totally agree that the box could have been Kallax size easily. Can't wait to get it to the table myself. It's been a bit!
I have recently discovered Mage Knight and I'd really like to play it. Does who owns the game and knows it better than I do recommend to get just the core game with no expansions or the Ultimate Edition?
At this point if you want to just try it to see if it's for you, you should be able to find many second copies of the original which is perfectly fine. I'd suggest that before getting expansions. The base is good enough for new players!
I noticed this when packing the box away. Cards fit but without too much room. There may be sleeves that can work but I'm going to have to experiment. I've also noticed what some others have in regards to the grey backs of some cards not being a perfect match. It's not the end of the world when sleeved but seems odd.
I sleeved all of my cards. And Im able to fit all of them except for the tip cards and wounds. Which I just put in some bags. Though it is a pretty snug fit. Mainly due to the sleeves wanting to expand. So I have to press them down when adding the rest of the cards.
Hello! I don’t have the original to compare but I didn’t notice any differences between the versions. Doesn’t mean there aren’t any though. Good question though. Maybe someone on BGG can help!
Hey! I haven’t sleeved it yet personally but there is a bit more room. Can’t say which type or length would fit 100%. BGG is a good source for that though :)
That’s a tough question. Truly depends on you. One you can pay and get now and the other is a wait. Depends on a lot of factors really. Do some research on the games and it will help you come to a conclusion! Thanks for watching Jason :)
I've been looking at Tainted Grail as well and it looks like it's gonna be really good. THIS is a CLASSIC, one of the best board games ever made (imho). You just can't go wrong with Mage Knight.
A very tough choice Clarence! They’re two totally different experiences. Imo you should do some research and also watch some playthroughs to see which game jumps at you the most. I’d love to point you towards one but it really comes down to your preferences.
MageKnight is the gold standard in solo games for a balanced game. Gloomhaven is kinda' grindy and it's mechanisms definitely favor the player. MageKnight is a more challenging, yet more rewarding game. I also like that all that progression from pauper to power, happens in *one* game!
Thank you very much for the video. My copy arrives tomorrow. I am new to this game, and i am a bit worried about the expansions. Are there any specific setup instructions just to know which things belong to the expansions and which ones to the core game? Or is the core+expansions thought to be played as a whole from the first game, so it is pointless to make any difference?
@@RollingSolo Thank you very much! I´ve just read this post on the BGG boardgamegeek.com/thread/2117171/packaging-and-insert-review and he is not so optimistic about the insert and how to recognise the expansions content. But maybe he didn´t see the rules for that in the box. Can´t wait to finally play this icon in solo gaming!
Hello! I really wish I could compare that. I haven’t had my original Mage Knight for about six months in anticipation for this. You may find the answers you’re looking for on BGG though! Hope this helps you out. :)
Wiz Kids was great about quickly sending me a replacement pack direct for my Shades of Tesla (1e) color issue, but I think a lot of people got it in their head that future editions wouldn’t fix the problem, but my friend got his expecting the same issue, but I guess they fixed it by then because he didn’t need it. I appreciate when gaming companies own up to things like this. I was surprised when Cry Havoc’s expansion had like 5 distinct token errors, so Portal Games made available a .pdf of the correct tokens, but never claimed they would fix that issue in further printings nor sent replacement tokens...I high,y respect Portal, but IMO that is one of the reasons Cry Havoc gets so much less attention, because die-hard fans were pretty annoyed about that. I’m not claiming Wiz Kids is perfect (don’t get me started on all the mistakes and issues with Dice Masters, not to mention the original collectable model...the fact that the new ‘living’ model gives you 3 dice for character with dice limit 4), but they’ve always handled Mage Knight well. And with Zev himself over there now-I expect a lot of good things in the future from WK. Thanks for the unboxing video....sorry for getting a bit off topic lol
No problem Mo! You’re 100% right about WizKids correcting the problem later in the print run for their expansion. As you mentioned this does show that they care about their customers allowing for replacements. Looking forward to their future as well!
Bought this and finally got it to the table for a solo playthrough. Sadly, i didnt enjoy it at all. Should try it again at some point, but setup is such a pita that i dont see it happening any time soon
Will you be using the insert provided by this box or are you planning to use a different insert? If so please share your experiences with it and how it works with the UE box. I have heard people complaining about the low quality of the insert provided but have also not found an insert that would fit into the UE version as it is larger than the box for the base game. I have looked at the insert made by daedalus and loved the design but doubt a new insert would be made to be matched for the new UE box's dimensions anytime soon. Anyways, great video and looking forward to your take on a playthrough 😊.
I'm pretty new to the hobby, and I'm tempted to get this, would you recommend to get it for a newbie? By the way love your vids I've been binge watching some of your playlists.
Awesome! Welcome to the community. Mage Knight is considered a medium to heavy game. I’d say for someone new it is certainly heavy. Highly recommend watching Ricky Royal’s videos so you can get a grasp on the game if you want it. Then the rulebook will fill in the gaps.
The painted minis seem to be a step up. Not professional but tabletop ready at least. It packs all of them into one box. The box could have been smaller I believe. Once everything is punched out there is a bunch of space unused.
Thanks for the video :) have had my eye on this for ages. Do u know if this is a limited print run, or is it going to be available for a while? Of course I know you are not affiliated with publisher, but thought you may know :) thanx
Hey ! Great video. Now when I want to have an opinion on a boardgame, first thing that comes to my search bar: Game_name rolling solo. Do you recommend this for advanced players who can play for about 2h in a row? I would mostly play solo I guess, sometimes with my wife or colleagues. I've been playing 7th continent which is crazily good, and I want another nice solo game which requires time to understand and enjoy. What's your opinion? Skip or buy in my case?
@@RollingSolo A colleague of mine will lend it to me, if it's a hit, maybe ultimate edition for xmas ? we'll see ! I also loved your 7th continent review, that's why I bought it actually
@@CigarChompinSarge The box is ridiculously oversized. It will not fit on my shelf. The insert is not good - I want to sleeve my cards. The dice weren't upgraded. They are super tiny and boring. The box cover is spammed with information, taking up 1/3 the art space. Nothing was really upgraded - its just a bundle, and a wildly oversized one. Still worth it, but its far from Ultimate.
There was a handful of improvements including the revised rulebook which is nice as there were issues with the original. But I hear you, they could have added a bit more cards into the mix ;p
Glad to help you out either way! Just so you know the five cards will be available later on for those that want to pick them up separately. So that’s good news! Cheers
I kinda wish that we waited for this re-release instead of buying all the expansions one by one! Nevertheless, a great game with an insane amount of replayability. Good job!
I think people that already have all the content from the prior versions are fine to just go after the five cards when WizK!ds releases them. But it is nice to have an all in one package to be honest!
My research goes back to 2013 :D Since then the game haunts me again and again (in a good way) My biggest concern is simply that it's so time-consuming that it barely gets on the table (like Mistfall). Otherwise, now is probably the best time to buy, it has never been so cheap. Here in Germany it costs about 90 €.
hahaha That's a fair concern and yes it does see less table time due to it being a bit of a beast. But it's a masterpiece of a beast....if that's a thing haha
Oh? I learned Mage Knight from him. I’ve always wanted to do a playthrough of the game but finding time is tough! It was one of two games which kicked off my love of solo gaming. 👍🏼
Those miniatures are as terrible as the paint jobs. They should be unpainted and updated. Do I buy this knowing I will throw them away and use different miniatures? God knows.

I can feel it clearly that you do love this game extremely...
This was the first game I ever played solo and have great memories with it!
@@RollingSolo Yeah, I heard it from your lovely video. Literally, this is my first solo game as well which I just ordered it couple hours ago. So excited to wait for the shipment and that's why I'm searching for some video about the game on UA-cam!
Awesome! Have fun with it. It’ll take time to learn but I promise you it’s a great system. Well designed!
Hmm haven't played or owned this. After doing KS on Tainted Grail looks like I'll need to buy this too.
Good news is this on is available in retail. So no rush! Do some research and be sure :)
Interesting, that's what got me looking too! I joined the KS for Tainted Grail, as it looks great, but thought 'hmm, i want to try something else before August next year, lets find out what other games are good for solo play' I think I'll order this :)
It's a very cool game with great mechanics. Have fun!
Great, I'm looking forward to it. I ordered it earlier today. Good to know that I haven't wasted my money! hehe.
just a shame i decided to take the plunge today instead of a week ago. The christmas holiday will mean i have to wait a little longer to recieve it. Oh well :D
ua-cam.com/video/J_zW9zDxeYU/v-deo.html
This is a game that I've been on the fence about for years. The biggest thing that kept me from buying it is the theme. Most of my collection seems to be fantasy themed and I'm burned out on it. Really wish we could get more solo games with a different theme but I understand why people make fantasy over and over. It is popular and I seem to be one of the few people that is tired of it.
Despite that, it is very tempting to pick this up.
I can completely understand that. I personally have been enjoying post apocalyptic quite a bit lately. Cheers!
I heard Star Trek Frontiers is essentially Mage Knight, but then Sci-fi themed. I didn't do too much research on it myself, but maybe something worth looking into if the Mage Knight theme doesn't appeal to you
Hi!
Can you tell me if the thickness of the tiles is the same in the old version and in the new one? the tiles look finer now
Oooo tough question. I would have been able to if I didn’t sell my prior copy. Maybe someone that has both can compare? This is a great question for the BGG forums. I’m sure someone can answer that. Let me know when you do!
Which playthrough videos are you refering to?
Been on my list since I heard about ultimate edition.
That's what got me excited as well! The announcement was an instant pre-order for me.
Hello guy
I missing a Krang token
Can you help me identify which token sheet it is on ?
Hey! That might be tough as I have it all punched now. :O
@@RollingSolo Np thanks
Sorry about that! ;p
@@RollingSolo ah what is
Volkare Clix Dial ?
Avatar Token
That insert may have killed the broken token one in my first edition., though it doesn't look like the trays come out, do they?
Hey EW, you can lift the whole tray out if you wish. I was able to without any issue. Only issue with mine is the top clear piece which sits over the tray to keep everything in place had a hole in one corner. Something I may follow up with them on if it causes a problem for me storage wise. Cheers!
Rolling Solo will it fit sleeved cards?
That remains to be seen. I'll find out soon enough as I sleeve Mage Knight. :)
Great unboxing.
Thanks Robin! Hope it was useful :)
Awesome I already have all the expansions but this has inspired me to repaint the figures. Too bad they didn’t make a new Breavelar figure. I had to craft my own...
Ah awesome! Thanks for watching :)
Would definately be appreciated if you could do a solo review walkthrough.
Hey Rikkert! I hope to do a playthrough in the future. Thanks for letting me know your interest. It’s one I will do but unsure the timing just yet.
I just receive the board game and I have no idea how to organise the components 😅
Hey SN! Congrats on picking up this one. There should be rules and setup videos online that can help. I haven’t gotten this version on camera yet. Hope you have fun. It’s a heavy game but it’s brilliantly designed.
Have you recorded a solo play through of this yet? I've never played this but am pretty keen..!
I haven’t! I was thinking about doing it but it’s quite the undertaking and I’ve got a bunch of other games I spend time with atm. I’d like to revisit this in the future though. It was the first solo game I ever bought!
should i get all the same color card sleeves? or do i need multiple colors to be able to sort through them?
Hey! Don’t need to worry about coloured sleeves. Regular clear sleeves are best here!
Hey Adam ,is this available yet ? I see on sites "Ultimate Edition" But on the box it doesn't show the 5 new cards....
I pre ordered through cardhaus games and got mine in the mail yesterday. It is definitely out now.
Sure is Andrew! ;D
Very good!!! Thank you !!
Even on Miniature Market it doesn't show the 5 new cards ...
Hi, I haven't found any MK content that you produced. Are you going to play MK?
Hello Luca! It’s one I’ve been interested in covering. No promises but we shall see what the future holds :)
Can you please provide some alternate mana gems options ? I also hate them ( in both regular and ue editions) . Links would be great. Thanks. PS my ue has cards with a lower contrast than the other versions
I hit Amazon and search for acrylic crystal gems and tons show up. Hope that helps!
Hey, when do you start play ?
Hello Darek! I don't have a scheduled time for this as of yet. It's one I'd LOVE to do though. We'll see what the future holds!
Thx. Merry Christmans and hapyy New Year 😊
Same to you and yours Darek! ;D
Does the inserts accommodate sleeved cards?
The insert inside doesn’t do a good job of that at all. I would recommend creating your own solution if you sleeve. 😄👍🏼
Just curious if you had a link for the jems you can order online?
A quick search on amazon for 'acylic gems' will get you a whole bunch of options. Hope this helps!
Does the insert fit sleeved cards? Nice vid
Hello! I put the cards back in and I’m unsure. I haven’t checked yet but plan to sleeve them after Christmas. Cheers
If you look on Bgg there is a lot of debate on this. I know premium sleeves results in you having to modify the insert.
Why is there no Breavalar Figure in there???
Now I’m curious. Should there be? Maybe I missed showing it?
This might be me or looking at if wrong but for the punch out boards and tiles are they flimsier or same quality as the original box of mage knight?
Hello! I don’t have the original to compare but I didn’t notice any differences between the versions. Doesn’t mean there aren’t any though. Good question though. Maybe someone on BGG can help!
prepainted or already started so I can finish them. ..
Exactly! ;)
Is this a retail copy? Are the games available at last? Have mine on preorder and can't wait to get my hands on it.
Yes it is! It's available as well. :)
Rolling Solo Thanks for a quick replay. So mine should arrive too :)
You bet. Woohoo! :D
The insert allow the cards to be with sleeves ?
Hey! I haven’t sleeved it yet personally but there is a bit more room. Can’t say which type or length would fit 100%. BGG is a good source for that though :)
Can't wait to see your top 10s for 2018 :)
Calvin! Something I’ll be working on after Christmas for sure :)
My copy arrived today hurray!... It does not fit any of my bookshelves... hurray!
Woohoo! Rip into that monster and enjoy :)
If I only could afford one, would you recommend Mage Knight or Tainted Grail?
That’s a tough question. Truly depends on you. One you can pay and get now and the other is a wait. Depends on a lot of factors really. Do some research on the games and it will help you come to a conclusion! Thanks for watching Jason :)
I've been looking at Tainted Grail as well and it looks like it's gonna be really good. THIS is a CLASSIC, one of the best board games ever made (imho). You just can't go wrong with Mage Knight.
Hey Adam, I am kind of stuck between this and gloomhaven, what would you recommend?
A very tough choice Clarence! They’re two totally different experiences. Imo you should do some research and also watch some playthroughs to see which game jumps at you the most. I’d love to point you towards one but it really comes down to your preferences.
MageKnight is the gold standard in solo games for a balanced game. Gloomhaven is kinda' grindy and it's mechanisms definitely favor the player. MageKnight is a more challenging, yet more rewarding game. I also like that all that progression from pauper to power, happens in *one* game!
Five new cards at 23:01
Now noted in the pinned comment. Thanks for watching Devin!
The rules are all laid out in the box. However I recommend just starting with the core experience to get a handle on things. Solo Conquest is best :)
Ah, might be a bit more work for those not familiar with the expansion content. Shouldn’t be too hard going off videos tho!
YOU ARE AWESOME! ❤❤❤
Thank you! Have a good one :D
hi question about the quality of the cards, are they as thick as the base game or same as krang / shades of tesla ?
Hello! I really wish I could compare that. I haven’t had my original Mage Knight for about six months in anticipation for this. You may find the answers you’re looking for on BGG though! Hope this helps you out. :)
You still need to do a walkthrough of Dragonfire!!! Hopefully you'll do one soon.
Hey Hugo! That’s another one I’d like to play as well. So many games so little time. We’ll see!
So true!
The intro logo not centered upsets me a lot.
Anyway
great unboxing.
Hey Alessandro! Can you pin the time stamp so I can look into it? Want to be sure I know where you’re seeing that. Cheers!
@@RollingSolo 0:22
Nice unboxing. I picked up the first standard one without those expansions
Appreciate that Eric! It’s a fun game. A classic!
Do those cards feel like playing cards or like uhhm magic or warhammer cards, ccg cards etc.?
Good question Rocky! Not sure, I’d have to check. Christmas has me tied up at the moment haha
Bought this and finally got it to the table for a solo playthrough. Sadly, i didnt enjoy it at all. Should try it again at some point, but setup is such a pita that i dont see it happening any time soon
Ah, that’s too bad. Every game isn’t for everyone. You won’t have a hard time selling it. So that’s a plus. Cheers!
Hey Methni! Thanks for your feedback. Maybe during a future playthrough I will talk about the insert. Something to think about :)
Cheers!
Mage knight is still popular
Sure is! ;D
Paintjob on the minis is the lowest standart actually :P The only way they could look worse is if somebodu would dip them in a paint jar....
Thanks for watching! They’re tabletop ready but certainly more beginner level painted. Beats looking at no colour at all! :)
Is it better quality since its fresh or just all pack into one?
The painted minis seem to be a step up. Not professional but tabletop ready at least. It packs all of them into one box. The box could have been smaller I believe. Once everything is punched out there is a bunch of space unused.
Thanks for the video :) have had my eye on this for ages. Do u know if this is a limited print run, or is it going to be available for a while? Of course I know you are not affiliated with publisher, but thought you may know :) thanx
Hey Parisa! It’s not a limited run so this will be in retail for a while to come I’m sure. Hope that helps! :)
That is great news. Thank you :)
No problem! Cheers
Nice video
Thanks Simon! :)
Absolutely! This is an advanced game and plays for 2-3 hours. :)
Thanks for the kind words and see you around here.
@@RollingSolo A colleague of mine will lend it to me, if it's a hit, maybe ultimate edition for xmas ? we'll see ! I also loved your 7th continent review, that's why I bought it actually
That’s awesome to hear! Glad you found something you like. Hope to see you around Benjamin!
I have so many more complaints regarding my copy of MKU than you do :)
I noticed a colour issue with some of the card backs after going through it more closely. That was a downer!
Thanks for watching Justin!
@@RollingSolo Your solo play convinced me to back Tainted.
Nothing says "ultimate" quite like "5 New Cards!!!!"
There was a handful of improvements including the revised rulebook which is nice as there were issues with the original. But I hear you, they could have added a bit more cards into the mix ;p
good edition but since I have eveything, I'm not going to buy it just for 5 cards. thx for the video.
Glad to help you out either way! Just so you know the five cards will be available later on for those that want to pick them up separately. So that’s good news! Cheers
@@RollingSolo thx great video as usual :)
Thanks Yann! :D
I kinda wish that we waited for this re-release instead of buying all the expansions one by one!
Nevertheless, a great game with an insane amount of replayability.
Good job!
Me too. Though I'm still very glad they made this. It looks really good!
I think people that already have all the content from the prior versions are fine to just go after the five cards when WizK!ds releases them. But it is nice to have an all in one package to be honest!
Oook fine i will buy it :-D
haha Well only if it interests you! Make sure you do your research. It’s a medium-heavy game! Thanks for watching
My research goes back to 2013 :D
Since then the game haunts me again and again (in a good way) My biggest concern is simply that it's so time-consuming that it barely gets on the table (like Mistfall).
Otherwise, now is probably the best time to buy, it has never been so cheap. Here in Germany it costs about 90 €.
hahaha That's a fair concern and yes it does see less table time due to it being a bit of a beast. But it's a masterpiece of a beast....if that's a thing haha
Awesome.. thanks for doing an unboxing. Trying not to buy this. Failure imminent.
haha No problem TC! ;p
Yeah... Same here... Annnnnd just bought it from Miniature Market... Haha
Bought it also.
My credit card is feeling the pain.
Gems are generic and I think the Mage Knight gems are unique. It is a minor gripe and one I don’t agree with.
For me, the gems lack of colour and transparency. They should be more vibrant. A minor gripe for sure. ;p
Man I preordered this then cancelled it . Regrets
Good news is that it’s in retail and won’t be going anywhere. So it’ll be there when you want it. :)
Ricky Royals playthrough is so full of ads it is unwatchable.
Oh? I learned Mage Knight from him. I’ve always wanted to do a playthrough of the game but finding time is tough! It was one of two games which kicked off my love of solo gaming. 👍🏼
eh they could have upgraded those garbage pre painted miniatures. I think the old card design looks nicer too.
Hmm, the card design is pretty awesome to me. The minis also are a step up minus one of them that didn’t look good at all. Thanks for watching!
Those miniatures are as terrible as the paint jobs. They should be unpainted and updated. Do I buy this knowing I will throw them away and use different miniatures? God knows.
That’s up for you to decide but you can certainly proxy as there are very few of them in the box. Cheers!
