A tip that may be helpful: If you run the sweetened condensed milk can under hot water before you open it, it will pour easier into the chocolate chips & melt a little faster. I do the same thing with canned pie filling if I want it to pour smoother anytime I use it.
Girlfriend, you look just like your mama. How cool is that cause now you know you'll age well cause mama is pretty. Kudos to mama cause I could barely survive two girls, let alone 6, lol.
Why am I crying because I wish my mom and I had beautiful memories of baking together 😩.. I am currently creating memories with my kids so they will have something positive to remember me by🙏 ... Your mom seems to really enjoy being in the kitchen.
5:33 QUICK TIP…when working with melted chocolate place your bowl on a towel covered heating pad. This will keep the chocolate from solidifying while you dip the treats.
@@julsenn91 yes indeed. My friend’s son-in-law is a chef. That’s what he would do. Set the heating pad on low or medium put a towel over it and you’re good to go.
@Stacey Jones that's such a neat trick. I have a thick fleecy heating pad so I'll probably try heating the bowl without the towel since it already has that layer of protection. Thanks for the tip!
Love these dessert ideas, and the trick of taking out 2 tines of the plastic fork for dipping? Genius!! I've been making dipped balls for years and never figured out such a great hack.👏👏
So lovely to see your Mom with you! You mention her inspiration and share her recipes from your childhood, so it was great to see her finally. (If she’s made a guest appearance before, I missed it.)
I love no bake desserts. Especially around the holidays. We're already busy baking fruitcakes and the whole dinner from scratch. So, no-bake candy recipes are great.
Try melting in the microwave Reese peanut butter chips 2 min with a half can of sweet condensed stirring in between. Pour in a baking dish. Then melt milk chocolate and rest of sweet condensed milk same direction pour over peanut butter. Sit 10ish min in frig.
I've been making those truffles for many years, except I use oreos instead...I get so many requests for them! I think I will also try your sugar cookie ones this year, and that fudge looks amazing! I love new and simple recipes for my Christmas baking 😊
Love you beautiful ladies. Great recipes. The Reese’s recipe is definitely going to be made for Christmas this year. And that blueberry pie looks amazing. Thank you so much. Merry Christmas and all the best in the New Year.
Good Sunday morning Six Sisters. Those no bake desserts look absolutely delicious and of course convenient. . I'm definitely going to try some today. Thanks for sharing another great recipe - and y'all have a wonderful Sunday.
Thanks for the easy recipes!!!!! I like easy, but the hard ones can be good too. But if you're in a hurry, these are great!!!!! Thanks to your mom for helping!!!! Good to see a family affair working together!!!! My sister is too stubborn to learn new things and cook with me!!!! 😂😂 She's a party pooper!!!!!!
I discovered the best hack last Christmas. I use my 3qt instant pot and add about a cup or so of water. Turn to sauté. Then I have a vintage Pyrex bowl (the green ones like your mom had lol) that fits perfect in my IP. This works as a double boiler and it keeps the chocolate warm and fluid to dip the truffles in. I just made about 100 Oreo balls last night for my son’s school Christmas party today and it went very quickly and smoothly. Merry Christmas.
When you need to “clean “ the beaters, don’t tap them on the edge of the glass bowl, you risk chipping the bowl. Tap them on each other and they clean faster too. Just one of my favorite tips.
I love❤ your spiral egg tree! It’s adorable and very handy. I don’t think I’d keep it so close to the stove though because of the heat it creates. Where can I find one?
Your 'no eggs' recipe is a wonderful, and early gift for allergen sufferers (i have Crohns)... thank you for this. Your video is calming, and inviting. If you need royalty free music, i have an instrumental Christmas song yiu can use, its the only way i can repay this recipe. Either way, be safe, and thank you.
Hi can you tell me when entertaining can I leave these truffles out on table how long and how to store it before gift giving please? Mom I luv your fork idea luv it!
Looks delicious! But as much as I love cream cheese, white chocolate and sugar cookies, I just don't think I'd like the truffles. To me, that just doesn't sound good together. Maybe just without the cream cheese. But everything else looks like a winner! Great job ladies! Have a wonderful Sunday! 💞
You look exactly like your Mom omg! She really looks like your sister! Go Mom!...For the 1st one you can even add colorful sprinkles as well or colored sugar...the 2nd one omg never thought about these..you can also make it w cookie dough that's in the Tubes/Tub if you wanted to..esp bc it's safe to eat it without baking it..but even w the bites you could add some drizzle over them in different festive colors like red or green would look great on the white ones..or even on chocolate..or use the melting wafers..they come in all colors..these are great for any occasion reall..baby showers..gender reveals..bdays...holidays etc..you can do a variety of sugar cookie dough..choc chip & peanut butter dough...
I freeze mine every year. I do my baking the week before Thanksgiving and then take out what I need over the next 6 weeks. Let the fudge sit for 30 min or so before serving. I serve the truffles even from frozen, they are good. I use oreos instead of sugar cookies, I leave the center filling just mashed them up. I make with regular and mint.

@@Lucinda_Jackson aah yeah! I can definitely see that. I just assumed it was to keep from getting the chocolate too hot but that makes sense!

Nice trick mom !!
I have 5 sisters - when we get together to bake cookies, we chat & drink too much champagne! Cheers!!
How long in the microwave to melt white or chocolate chips?
Do the truffles need to be stored in the refrigerator?
Yes. I make something similar (keto fat bombs) with cream cheese and they need to be refrigerated.
You could set a heating pad under the white chocolate bowl so it don't set
Would the truffle and fudge freeze well?
I freeze mine every year. I do my baking the week before Thanksgiving and then take out what I need over the next 6 weeks. Let the fudge sit for 30 min or so before serving. I serve the truffles even from frozen, they are good. I use oreos instead of sugar cookies, I leave the center filling just mashed them up. I make with regular and mint.
Could you use teal whip cream you make for this cheese cake ?
You probably could if you stabilized it with gelatin. If you tried it just straight, I think you’d end up with a gloppy mess when the cream deflated.
How many sugar cookies do u use? U don't mention it in the the video or the recipe
It showed up on the screen. 16 cookies, but the size of the cookie could make a difference.
If you two wore the same hair color and style, you'd pass for twins.
Those smiles are very similar.
I agree!
Nice easy desserts. Please don't hit the edge of the mixing with a metal spoon. It can chip the edge. Don't want glass chips in your dessert 😋
😋😋😋
