i like using cast build but can i ask how do you make it drop as soon as it hits the taget cuz i usually dash until it drop, is it keep sake, boon, mirror or what?
You probably mean with the shield, it's from the aspect of beowulf where the casts explode and fall immediately.
To be more specific you load them into the bull rush and they actiave where the rush ends

Burst damage = quick times?
Essentially, it's more consistent to go for cast builds since you can use Fated Persuasion and God Keepsakes to control boons. Builds that require specific hammers are a big gamble when racing.

I think it could be nice to remove all the lore of the game, all the time actors pent to develop the different character, their personallity and that just to gain 30 sec on RTA speed run
@@erwastuy Good job strawmaning my idea! some of hade's and the old man's speeches are different lengths and would certainly cut some rng out of it. most people wouldn't even bother with turning it off. it was a small idea. you are being a asshole about a very small part of the game. how is hade's or old man's speeches after you start a run integral to the lore of the game? Hade's speeches are small tidbits of memory from Zag's mind. I bought the game and have listened to all of both beginning and end run speeches(almost 300 runs), and completed all the games story lines.
@@erwastuy Being able to skip cutscenes etc. is a pretty standard option in most games. The devs know that they have a community of "hardcore" high heat/speedrunners who would gladly take something like this. It's not even about some silly RTA gains but simply the fact that it's annoying to hear the same unskippable "death speech" for the 50th time at some point. I'm not even a speedrunner but I would probably turn them off at this point (150 runs or so). Why be a douche about this?
Seems silly to race when it mostly comes down to how quickly the sac shows up?
